CATERING REVIEW: We hired Urban Field to cater our wedding at the River Bend in Lyons. First off, PAUL IS THE MAN. Our wedding party was floored by how attentive he was – not just to us as the bride and groom, but to all of our guests (especially the VIPs). He truly went above and beyond and we could not be more appreciative. And the food…wow. People could not stop raving about it. For cocktail hour we served fried risotto balls, jalapeño popper cups, and Colorado lamb meatballs, and everyone was obsessed. We served dinner buffet style, and everything was so fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We honestly couldn’t be happier.
Nick made the menu selection process so easy with amazing communication, from setting up our menu tasting to working through dietary restrictions.
And on top of all that, we also hired Urban Field for bartending services, which was another A+ decision. Rico was incredible to work with. He did a signature cocktail tasting for us during our menu tasting, and even helped us figure out how much alcohol and mixers to order (a lifesaver). Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the cocktails were. We chose the “Better Half” and the “Field Old Fashioned” (so so good… IYKYK)

Was very let down there wasn’t a cheese stick on the menu. Drive 45 mins from hotel and waited out front for 30 mins in hopes of getting one. Serious let down. They should keep it on there permanently. Than we made the giant mistake of getting a buffalo pizza that sounded great, it did have a cheese listed we didn’t recognize… turns out it was bluecheese couldn’t event eat it… boxed it up bc we paid so much for it… to only toss it in the hotel trash. The ceaser salad has the best dressing I’ve ever had. The cheese bread was great we should have stopped there, that would have been plenty of food. Mistakes were made….

I haven’t had any food here. I didn’t love, it’s all phenomenal. From the pizza to the wings and even the appetizers are all amazing. The service is wonderful and the people are always kind.

Absolute best pizza and wings I’ve had. The square pizza is amazing, the specials are always unique and delicious. Wings are great, well cooled, well sauced, and have lots of meat on them. Service is always friendly and attentive, Nina provides great service at the bar and great drinks I will always recommend people to try Urban Field.

We just got to the hotel with the pizza and the bottom of the pizza(crust) was burnt. The wings were tough. The only good thing was the flavor of the wings.

I was very impressed with Urban Field Pizza! This was our first time (though we didn’t say that) and the staff treated us with kindness and provided wonderful service. Our pizza had a burnt crust, and before it was even delivered to our table, it was inspected and hesitantly brought to our table. We were immediately asked if we wanted it remade and we declined; although I appreciate the attention to detail and the high level of care for quality. Though the crust was a bit toasty, the pizza still tasted amazing! Thanks for the great experience.

I had been excited to try Urban Field Pizza for a while and read many of it’s stellar reviews. I was disappointed, however, in my recent experience. The atmosphere was fine, nothing special, similar to other pizza places around the area. The beer selection was small but decent and there is a full service bar for cocktails. The pizza was fine, though a little floppy in the undercarriage. It did have some good, fresh ingredients with homemade sauce and meat, but it didn’t necessarily live up to the hype in the reviews that got me amped to go there. The server was not unfriendly, but not particularly friendly or attentive (I could have easily been upsold on another beer or two, but just sipped my glass of water instead). I know, I know, I sound super needy, but I’m really not. Just underwhelmed. Will probably give it another shot sometime…

I was not disappointed at all. The food was simply amazing! The giant mozzarella stick was not on the menu (yet), crispy and great flavor.
The Detroit style sausage pizza with added pepperoni was outstanding.

My fiance and I came by for Valentine’s Day to test out the restaurant we hired to cater our wedding and we are SO thrilled we chose Urban Field. Not only was the food incredible, but the staff made it one of the nicest experiences we’ve had in a restaurant. Highly recommend for a laid back experience combined with really high quality food and people!!

Ahh i wanted so badly to give 5 stars but the fungi pizza was a bit disappointing in flavor and consistency, as well as a lot of cheese… however the sausage pizza was good, albeit rather greasy. The caesar salad lacked croutons and that was also a bit sad. The space is large, clean and open! Plenty of seating and good vibe! Service was also good.
