We use the freshest ingredients available with an emphasis on supporting the local farmer. We prepare our meats on the Big Green Egg using mostly local hickory wood and lump charcoal allowing our pork, steak, shrimp, and turkey to be packed with flavor without the added fat. FARM -FIRE -TABLE.

First off Clean Place friendly staff , very helpful. Told them to just pick my meal and they did not disappoint. Steak burrito yes please cooked rare the way I like it. The salsa is awesome, this place is A++. The cheddar pasta was also a winner , very flavorful , perfect noodle tenderness. Wish this was closer to home (Dallas Ga) . Out here for the week for work and this is a definite must go to place. Great Job guys!!!

We only gave it a 4 due to the slaw on the turkey sandwich had a strong vinegar taste for our liking. Everything else was delicious. My husband received his chicken plate with fruit quickly. We had to wait a bit for my turkey sandwich with mixed vegetables. It was good food and cute decor.

I just want to take a second to say that the chef that cooked my steak tonight (11/21) is very talented. Not one bit of gristle or fat and it was seasoned perfectly/insanely tender. Everything else we ordered was delicious, but the steak rivaled a lot of steakhouses I’ve been to. Thank you for a great meal!!

Ok Veggie / healthy / local-loving friends: The 2 plates we ordered were fresh & brimming with yum. The veggie quesadilla was full of corn, broccoli, peppers & all the good stuff. I asked for minimal cheese and got it – super delicious tortilla & seasoning made it great. Mr Wonderful had delicious chicken with rice & salad We will be back. Stopped by for lunch while we were in town for a doctor’s appointment and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. My mom and I split the veggie quesadilla and it was outstanding! The strawberry lemonade was really refreshing. I look forward to going back next time I’m in town for a visit!

We had the pork tacos and chicken salad today. Every time I come here, I try something different, and I never get disappointed. Pork was moist and flavorful. They also have some dang good sweet tea also. 5 stars across the board! Good eats here at the Urban Cookhouse.

We’ve driven by this place numerous times, never knowing what this establishment was until today. Sunday brunch was packed with customers and we were able to sit on the patio with a slight overcast day!
The food was delish, and we plan on coming back. The service was beyond helpful in answering our questions and truly enjoyed our experience with full bellies!

The place was overall clean and looked nice.
The service is warm and swift. When we visited the staff was visibly uneasy with something or preoccupied by some personal issues but it only affected the atmosphere, not the quality of service itself.
The food was decent and overall good. Loved the soup of the day (tomato and basil cream soup, AFAIK), it was thick and tasty.
Fresh vegetables in the salad were a bit too watery and lacking their natural taste: a higher quality grocery store or a lower quality farmers market kind. The dressing helped, but couldn’t fix the issue completely.
The grilled chicken was good. The ham was also nicely finished.
The penne pasta in the variation of mac and cheese was overcooked or was cooked hours in advance, and the cheese tasted wrong to me.
Overall a good food, all the complaints are to show the room for improvement.

Urban Cookhouse has a really nice place with awesome employees, very friendly and helpful, cheerful and a clean dining room with clean restrooms. The menu has a lot of wonderfully unique items with some old favorites along with fresh salads, fresh fruit and other wonderful dishes. And the chocolate chip cookie dessert was the bomb. Great place for everyone.
