Chef Scott was absolutely amazing — I watched him handle back-to-back orders all by himself with incredible work ethic and focus. He was serving about seven people at once and still kept everything running smoothly!
When I got home, I tried the wings, crinkle fries, and fried pickles — and everything was delicious! MJ was also super friendly and provided great customer service, which made the whole visit even better.
Chef Scott, and MJ did a remarkable job. I’ll definitely be coming back to Urban Wings to try even more flavors!

This a small pickup joint for fried chicken, chicken wings and chicken strips. There isn’t a place to sit down but there are small counter spaces if required to eat there. Recommended just to pickup as this is the best fried chicken! We get the Chattanooga fried chicken. I have had the strips before as well. They have sides and a large selection of home made sauces. You can call ahead or a super convenient online ordering system. I setup my order before I leave work and always ready when I get there. Very nice people. This is a must try!

I ordered 25 take-out chicken fingers to satisfy hungry children during a house party, and everyone–adults included–couldn’t stop eating them. It was a full catering tray of chicken, and perfect to feed a large group of people. Will definitely order again.

This place is a hidden gem!! Discovered it while driving around town and gave it a try. Ordered a mix of menu items to try out. The fried chicken was juicy delicious but not greasy, the fried shrimp was jumbo size with good dipping sauce, the fries were crunchy, wings had good flavor and the corn bread was on the money! I’m happy I found my new chicken spot, highly recommend this place!

I am allergic to allium and dairy and had a really great experience on one recent occasion with a nice employee named Max who graciously made my large order of fried chicken with flour/salt/pepper only. I called today requesting a similar order, the person who answered did not quite understand but eventually told me that someone was coming in who could help make the order and that they would call me back. Hours later I called back to follow up on this since no one called, the owner was very nasty and said I was being unreasonable to ask for this, that they can’t do business like that etc, lecturing me in a condescending way. If he couldn’t do it, he could have simply said hey I’m sorry we can’t do that anymore instead of lecturing me with all the other irrelevant stuff. I’ll add, he claims it’s so much work toss a little bit of chicken in flour salt and pepper but it’s not that much work at all. He doesn’t value speaking nicely to customers bc apparently he has too many other customers. I’ll take my business to other places that are clearer in their communication and know how to speak with people.

Restaurant has a sign on the door saying they are closed for a private event until Thursday but didn’t bother to turn off their online orders. I selected to pick up my order and had to go all the way there only to find out that they aren’t open.
At least have the courtesy next time to turn off your online orders when business hours are going to be different than advertised.
This could have easily been avoided if I was unable to online place an order in the first place.

Urban Chicken is hands down the best chicken place in New Jersey. I usually enjoy their fried chicken, but at times will get the buffalo tenders, which are also amazing. They are run by one of the kindest owners in town. If you have an opportunity, you should definitely stop by and try their chicken or tenders!
