Wow! My taste buds are in awe right now at Urban Burma. The taste profiles in my Nan Gyi Dok dish are absolutely delicious. The thick are hearty noodles hit the spot and the curry is spicy and brings excitement to eat bite. I also got a refreshing ginger drink that perfectly cools down the heat from my dish. This spot is located in the Mango House which is which a fun and rich cultural spot! Highly recommend!!!

What a delicious meal! We loved every bite! Service was wonderful and owner Siri is so friendly and a joy to talk with! Such a cool vibe here too. The small shop next to it (also in Mango House) sells fermented tea leaves and the bean/nut mix needed to make your own tea leaf salad!

First time to try Urban Burma. Not super familiar with Burmese food so went with a safe order to start. The sesame, green onion, noodles with pork was very tasty. Came with a potent spicy sauce that was also good. Portion to price value was solid. Would come back to try more dishes.

Really enjoyed the sampler meal here. Probably the best Samosa I’ve ever eaten. I liked the tea leaf salad a lot too, and the pork curry was flavorful and delicious even though the rice was mushy and overcooked.
Service was warm and staff was welcoming. The man who helped us was friendly, conversational, and happy to share recommendations from the menu. We would love to try this place again.

Came highly recommended by a work colleague so decided to give it a try. Was looking for the restaurant but later found it is inside Mango House food court. Couldn’t come from main door on the street so had to go in via a back door.
The food was worth the drive. All our dishes were yummy and kids enjoyed all a lot. Came back home and they wanted to eat the left overs again. The host Siri was very helpful and warm and kids enjoyed talking with him.

My partner and I lived in Mandalay, Myanmar for 3 years from 2022-2025 as teachers. We loved Myanmar food. We were so excited to try the food at Urban Burma and it was excellent/authentic. Everything was delicious and made as good or better than our memory of the food in Mandalay. And the owner and staff were so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this place as one of your regular restaurants in Denver.

I truly don’t understand the rating. The chicken in the chicken curry was dry, but the curry did have good flavor. And the rice that came with it wasn’t great. The samosas were very good but pricey. The fried rice was not fried. The noodle dish tasted weird. The floor was filthy.

If you want authentic, delicious, Burmese cuisine in Denver, go to Urban Burma… The tea leaf salad is the best on this side of the Mississippi. You can tell that the kitchen staff is happy and puts the love in!
