I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Urban Bird Hot Chicken today. I placed a $64 order for pickup (Check #101), but when I got home—a 15-minute drive away—I realized the kitchen had completely messed up our meal. Instead of the two Tennessee BBQ Sandos we paid for, we received Nashville spicy burgers.
Mistakes happen, but the way the staff and management handled it was unacceptable:
• The employee who answered the phone was dismissive and offered no apology for the error.
• The manager I spoke with, put me on hold while I was still speaking to him without returning. Upon calling again multiple times there was no response.
Being told to drive another 30 minutes round-trip to fix their mistake without even receiving a basic apology is not how you treat customers. For a place that charges over $60 for a family meal, the lack of accountability and basic respect from management is shocking. I hope the franchise owners look into the conduct of the team working the evening of March 7th.
Will definitely come back. The caramel shake was good too.
we stopped by Urban Bird for a family dinner and were blown away by the quality and flavor.
The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy and seasoned, and the sliders were a huge hit. the fries—were absolutely addictive!
The portion sizes are generous, making it great value.
We actually had so much food that we got to enjoy it all over again the next day.
Manager was acted very put-out when someone with me asked for a separate plate so they could separate the chicken waffles and chicken so the ketchup and syrup wouldn’t mix together.
The tea container obviously hadn’t been cleaned out In a while. The tea tasted like it had coffee mixed in it from old tea. I poured it out and got water.
Chicken was good…. But seriously this place puts its chicken above cleaning. I may get this to go in the future but honestly… probably not.
First, the price-to-quantity ratio wasn’t as good as Dave’s, and the taste was somewhat underwhelming. They offer four spice levels, which is a plus. I went with the second-highest, while my brother chose the second one, but he found his burger quite bland. My sister accidentally ordered the kosher strips instead of the regular chicken ones, and they weren’t great either.
One highlight was their Salted Sweet Fries—they got cold quickly after being served, but I still really enjoyed them. I’d say they’re one of the standout items and definitely worth trying.
However, the sauce selection was disappointing. When I went to Dave’s, I was given multiple sauces, so I expected at least two special sauces here. Instead, we only got one, and that too came with the kosher strips.
Overall, while Urban Hot Bird has some positives, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. The fries were the best part, but the burgers and sauces could use some improvement.
What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. They made sure everything was right and created an overall positive and enjoyable experience.
If you’re looking for great food paired with top-tier service, Urban Chicken is the place to go. Highly recommend!

We just tried 2 items as showing images and clips and we enjoyed well.
