Uptowne Mediterranean is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you can feel that it’s family-owned and run with pride. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff treat you like you’re part of the family.
The food is on another level. I ordered the Be Shawarma, and it was hands down one of the best shawarmas I’ve ever had. The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with authentic Lebanese flavor. Every bite had that perfect balance of spices, juiciness, and freshness. The toppings and sauces complemented it beautifully without overpowering the rich flavor of the shawarma itself.
You can truly taste the authenticity and care in every dish. If you’re craving real Lebanese-style Mediterranean food made with love, Uptowne Mediterranean is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back — highly recommend!

The food is good and tasty. The babaganouj, hummus, and salad were all salty to my not-too-salty taste.
Also this is more like a catering I’d say rather than a dining place. The service is very slow and they easily forget to bring you water or silverware.

We have been getting food here for over 10 years. Their spicy falafel wrap is my favorite. Chicken shawarma is my husbands go to. The food is always fresh, it’s family owned and run, and the new(ish) renovation gives it a fresh look! Desserts are made in house as well and are super yummy treats!

The food quality was disappointing — the meat was undercooked, with only the top slightly done while the center remained raw. The staff’s attitude was unprofessional and noticeably anxious. They seem to have overstated their reputation, as the food did not match what was advertised. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.

I have gone to eat at Uptowne a few times for lunch, but this was the first time I ordered catering for our New Years Eve party. The ordering process was super easy and clear – the catering menu shows how many servings per platter. It made it easy to order for a large group, and the food did not disappoint. The owners had the food ready for pickup at the scheduled time, helped me carry it to my car, and told me how to store/heat the items until dinner time. The food was absolutely delicious and came with MORE than enough food for everyone to take home seconds. I was still getting texts from our guests the next day about how good the food was. Will absolutely be returning for more!

Arabic shawarma with chopped beef was good. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. Many people came alone to sit and eat dinner on the weekday. Many people talk with the staff because the staff is very friendly and they enjoy opening up to the patrons.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I’ve heard nothing but good things, and now I know why. The food was incredible, the service was equally as good, and the Baklava, oh, the Baklava. This was arguably the best Baklava I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. It truly was worth the trip to this restaurant. Even if you’re unsure about Mediterranean fare, at least stop in and enjoy a slab of this deliciously flaky treat. You will not be disappointed.

Looking for some good Lebanese/middle eastern food, this is the place. Also, if you are looking for a good Shawarma in an authentic doner style this your place. I have tried multiple location in Worcester, but none were this authentic in spice and preparation style.

Got the beef Shawarma platter with French fries – $16 , one the best in Worcester I had. The meat and the spice well absolutely flavorful, and the french fries was really crunchy.
Mixed platter was great too, ( 32$), it contained (approx 6-7 inch) two skewers of chicken, One skewer lamb and one skewer of beef, good portion of tabloueh, rice, half flat bread, small portion of hummus, and garlic mayo sauce They give you the option to have ground or cube meat for the skewers.
Loved the beef cube kabobs was really juicy and flavorful. The tabloueh was fantastic.
