Absolutely hands down one of the best sushi spots in the city! Not only do they great service & very knowledgeable staff… but the food is absolutely superb!!! I eat sushi at least 3x per week and this place has definitely earned a spot in my regular rotation. Im looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu! We ate a lot but I wanted to try everything! Lol. Tried something very different (picture) and it was delicious! I wish I could remember the name lol. It tasted like a breakfast sandwich. The beef bites aside, all of the fish was super fresh and melt in your mouth tender.

First experience here amazing, this time the rolls were the best. I’m going to say I ordered wrong? Lickety split 10/10 I wish I remember name of the green one, don’t order this one it has the strangest pairings of flavors and was not it. Kobe Cubes flavor wise 10/10 structure-terrible falling apart. Crispy rice should be crispy but it was soggy.
Forewarning ambiance is great for date night but it gets loud, and I mean loud. Atleast when I was here

My friends and I had a fantastic dinner at Uptown Sushi! The service was top notch. Our server was attentive and offered great recommendations. All the food was phenomenal and had great flavor. 10/10 and would recommend!

Ginger Fish Fry was exquisite. Perfectly crisped and in a sauce that was delightfully simple but delicious which included cucumbers and freshly sliced lemon and lime. My bestie and I thoroughly enjoyed our main course. Would love to know what type of fish was used.
Edamame was underwhelming and not flavorful at all. Salt was requested. Avocado bites were delicious and inventive. Will definitely revisit and how could I forget the cocktail I ordered, the guava smash was everything this girl could ask for in a drink ❣️

Arrived early for our reservation, but behind a group of four that had walked in. Though we were all waiting for our tables, they were seated before us and we were left to wait almost 30 minutes *after* our reservation time for a table to become available. Ultimately we left rather than continue waiting because the staff could care less. They made no effort to actually make up for the fact that they gave our table away to a group that walked in seconds before us. I would never recommend this place to anyone; after sharing this experience with a friend, I learned they stopped coming after their bill reflected items that had never been ordered.

This restaurant is truly amazing. Tina provided fantastic and delightful service!!! They still serve my favorite plate: Kobe Cubes. It is rice under a Kobe beef cube which is under a quail egg. It is probably one of the best pairings I’ve ever had in my life.
All the small plates we ordered we’re so delicious we didn’t even need to order entrees.
Tina introduced me to a fantastic Japanese whiskey called Hibiki. It was absolutely smooth and tasty.
