I have been eating Saggios food for decades at their location off of Central and the food used to be delicious. It has only gone down hill at that location, but I decided to give this location a shot and I’m pleased to say that the food was delicious just like the old location used to be. My wife and I both enjoyed our food and we shared some of it with our 10 month old son who seemed to really love it. The food isn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for which is good quality food. The service was great and the atmosphere is pretty good too. I do miss the atmosphere of the old location as I consider it classic and nostalgic, but I like this location too since it is much closer to my house. I plan on coming back here again and if the food is just as good I will be updating my review to 5 stars. I do recommend eating here.

I waited at the counter a full 5 minutes before someone even acknowledged me. The young man at the counter walked past me 6 or 7 times before someone else came over to ask if I had been helped. My food was pretty quick, I only got a slice and pre-made pasta salad. My pizza had a total of 7 small pepperoni slices. It was very expensive for what you get. I’ve been eating at Saggios for at least the last 15 years. I don’t know if it is just the uptown location that is in this rut, or if it is the whole company. Pretty disappointing on the whole.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill, however the staff members could be friendlier. They offer an awesome range of fresh pizzas. Prices are reasonable and the spot is always kept clean.

Very uncomfortable. Staff was very rude. Cashier took my $100 to the back (checking the authenticy) then came back up with an attitude, very unfriendly. Made my family feel like we were being accused of something. Won’t be returning to this location. The original Saggios treats their customers alot better. Also took an hour to get our pizza. This location sucks.

Disappointing! I have been a regular customer of Saggios for many years. The new location was great because it was closer to where I live. Today I had a slice of pizza and Tuscan salad and the pizza is HALF the size it used to be, yet they raise the prices. This is not ok. I loved their pizza. My family is from New York and this was the closest to NY size and crust we had in New Mexico. Large slices and none of that soggy floppy garbage crust you find elsewhere here. Such a disappointment. Flavor is good. Keep your portions and slices the same size. Especially if your gonna raise prices!

Wanted to dine in but there is a horrible loud high pitched noise that comes and goes coming from the kitchen area. I asked if the counter and was told it’s their ovens making that noise and they can’t do anything about it. Unfortunately the noise did not start until we placed the order but switched the order to be takeout.

This is the first time I’ve been at the saggios at uptown and the manager Matt was rude. Not friendly at all. Customer service was not good. The only friendly employee was this girl named Kaylee. The restaurant was clean and I like the plants they have hanging. Food was great. I think they need to work on customer service but that does come with good management.

The food was decent,I’ll give it that. That’s the only positive. We had to clean our own table. Nobody else is doing it. They had 20 beers on tap except they’re out of 10 of them on an early Saturday evening that just speaks to poor planning by the management. The poor lady running the bar was having to run the bar, clean tables, clean the floor and run around. Do other things as well. I’d ask for a second beer but I never got it. 15 minutes later I was done eating and left. I will not be back and I will not recommend this place to anyone else. As I indicated, I don’t think this is a fault of the staff. It’s well…. Let’s just say their management needs to be replaced.
