I’m originally from New York, and my husband is a Delray local, and we both agree that this is hands-down the best pizza in town. My review is not for the pizza. I haven’t tried it, so it might be good for all I know. This review is only for the Philly cheesesteak. I grew up near Philadelphia and I absolutely love a good cheesesteak. Unfortunately what they serve here is definitely NOT a good cheesesteak at all. In fact, it really annoys me when a restaurant calls their menu item a “Philly” cheesesteak when they obviously have no clue what a real Philly cheesesteak is or how to make one. It’s also pathetically small for the high price they charge.

Uptown Pizza in Delray really hits the spot. The pizza is fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients — perfect crust, great sauce, and generous toppings. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
The menu also has a nice variety of pastas, subs, and appetizers, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the place has a laid-back, welcoming vibe.

As good as you guys are, you guys have been messing up my order. I ordered ten wings and you guys only gave me 8 and then you guys don’t have Coke products anymore but on the app it’s listed as you do. Come on guys. And then another time you guys forgot to give me my soda and that was when you guys had Coke still 🙁

Listen I’m sorry if this makes anyone upset at the establishment, but I feel like this needs to be said.
First- the pizza is always awesome. My favorite place to get pizza in all of South Florida. No complaint ever and would argue with anyone that did with the food here. I order it usually once a week.
The problem is the last 4 times we’ve ordered, something been wrong with it. The first time the cheese was literally all only on one half of the pizza. Like it was all put on correctly but then they dropped it and all the cheese fell to one side. Next the entire top of the box was crushed into the cheese. The third time it took an hour and a half to get the pizza, and then tonight we ordered at 5:25pm and it took almost two hours to get here. It’s 7:23pm right now and it got here 5 mins ago.
I’ll say i know it’s not the usual delivery guys, or the people cooking the pizza. it sucks because it’s literally my favorite place to get pizza.

Been our pizza go-to for the last 10 years. It’s close by and delicious! If you’re going for service, it’s a takeout/not eat in place so you’re not going to get the same caliber as a restaurant. It is what it is and gives local kids a chance at a job. They are pleasant enough. It’s the master pizza maker you should really care about. He’s the main man that makes this place what it is. Delicious food when everywhere else is closed, too far, or you just really crave NY/NJ style pizza. Hint, if you order one slice, you get a huge one if you’re nice! All around highly recommended.
