Uptown Pho might be tucked away in a small spot, but it’s easy to find and absolutely worth the visit. The moment you walk in, the staff greet you warmly and make you feel right at home. The space is cozy — small, yet never cramped — with a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for a great meal.

But the real standout here is the food. The pho is incredibly flavorful, with rich, aromatic broth and fresh ingredients that make every bite satisfying. It’s easily one of the best pho experiences I’ve had — authentic, balanced, and generous in portion. You can taste the care that goes into every bowl.

If you’re looking for a comforting, delicious meal served with genuine hospitality, Uptown Pho is a must-visit.

Yummy food.
Sat down during the slow hours so we had the restaurant to ourselves at first. Very cozy atmosphere. I got the crab noodle soup. It was really yummy, kind of salty but I think that was just the flavoring altogether. The place became more packed as the night progressed.

Small place, neat and clean. I was seated quickly, with excellent wait service. Kitchen is open for all to see.

I had a bowl of rare beef pho that was wonderful and generously sized. Pho, iced tea and tip was around $21. Really good. Bit of a drive for me but I’m definitely going back.

Overall Score: 8.0/10 – A clean, fresh, and stylish Vietnamese-inspired spot with great food, friendly service, and quality execution, making it a strong choice for a reliable meal.

Atmosphere and Service: 8.2/10 – The restaurant has a newly renovated, clean look with a light Venetian flare that adds character without overdoing it. Everything felt fresh, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu was fairly simple but included a few unique options that gave it just enough variety.

Pho: 8.1/10 – A standout dish with rich, flavorful broth and a generous portion of meatballs. The brisket was lean and tender, and the noodles were cooked just right. The price was fair for the quality and portion. Highly recommended.

Fresh Roll: 7.1/10 – A well-made roll that was tightly wrapped and clean in presentation. The shrimp and sausage were fresh, and the peanut sauce paired perfectly. A consistent and tasty appetizer.

Finally a spot that reminds me of home. I’ve went to few diff places for Pho since moving down from Boston and this place has most authentic broth. Fresh Spring rolls were delish and can’t wait to try other items on menu. Staff was very friendly, attentive and worked well together as a team.

We had the Bún Rieu, Pho, Spring Rolls, Sea Salt Viet Coffee and Tricolor desert. Everything was fantastic, the Bún Rieu had the appropriate amount of shrimp paste and the pho is beefy with a nice mix of aromatics. Will definitely come back to try there other dishes. So many dishes here that are not available at other pho shops. So glad we went out of our way to try this spot, definitely one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the triangle.

I’ve been here so many times, but this time I’m very disappointed. I ordered a salad, and the waitress didn’t even give me a plate for it, we had to share, and it spilled everywhere. The soup I got was terrible, the pork smelled bad, and there was hardly any meat in it at all. Instead of standing around chatting, you should be taking care of your customers. I’m both hungry and annoyed, no idea

Amazing pho and traditional Vietnamese dishes!!! They have everything I can think of from dishes in my childhood. Like Banh Uot, Bun Rieu, Bo Kho, Com Chim Cut etc… Also such a cozy cute spot for friends or date night! They have alcohol too which was nice. Highly recommended!

Flavor profile was spectacular. You can smell the pho from across tables. I had a flat noodle weekly special dish and it was savory with the perfect vegetable crunch. We had another special, the matcha creme bruele that was too sweet and without the grassiness of matcha (perfect for folks not too crazy about strong matcha taste).
