Genuinely one of the best coffee I’ve ever had. I got the crème de caramel and my fiancé got the cookie butter latte and both were very delicious. We also got their breakfast burrito which was also amazing. Highly recommend you check it out!

Uptown Java is a very nice place to sit and have a cup of coffee or have a bite to eat.
My only negative comment is in regard to nuts. They have shared they do not put nuts in brownies, cookies, etc because some people have a nut allergy. I am not the only person who loves nuts in certain foods. I understand being careful with those who have this allergy, but are we all going to stop putting nuts in our baked goods? This seems unfair. The other interesting observation is on their menu. They offer Pecan rolls. Interesting!

**Please do not focus on the patron review with 1 star. The person was at the store during it’s opening weeks when unfortunately the espresso machine was broken, and the second time she refused the apology and the offer of free product from the barista.**
What a transformation! The homemade pastries are beyond delicious, and their beverages are brewed to perfection. The open and artsy feel of the rooms are refreshing, and such a comfortable place to hang out and to have meetings. The cinnamon rolls and pumpkin bars are a ‘don’t miss’! And the added ‘perk’ that all profits support the continuation of the work of Fresh Hope for Mental Health is amazing!

Really nice place! The vibe is really cozy and who I believe is to be the owner was checking on us to make sure everything was good and we were helped. Friendly staff and the coffee is delicious! I ended up getting a white mocha with lavender cold foam and it was really good.
I also couldn’t help myself and tried the chai which is DELICIOUS!

I love everything about Uptown Java, especially their food but the coffee does not take a backseat. What a gem in Elkhorn! Stay away from those corporate coffee shops and spend your money to a locally owned business.
