Gotta say, this was one of the hands down best dinners we have had in a minute. Food, seasonal drinks, and service were incredible. Our server Sky led us to some tasty selections like the Honey & Maple glazed chicken wings (just spicy enough and sweet) and the Gorgonzola and Pear salad with Pork Belly. Their salads and grain bowls are no joke. We’ll see you in the morning for brunch, Sky!

Had the most fabulous dinner at Uptown. Food is always great here. Lots of choices and everything is delish. We split the pot pie, which honestly is the best pot pie anywhere. We also had the house salad, and our server let us add extras – pepitas and blue cheese. Lucky to have Hannah as our server on our last two visits! She asked if we were there for a special occasion, since we were there with a big group. She passed us a secret note to confirm that it was our son’s birthday and sent out a sparking candle on our dessert. Super cool and a nice surprise. Love you, Hannah! We’ll be back soon.

Wonderful experience! Tuesday this week was the second time I’ve been, first was several years ago. Hannah our waitress was amazing!!! She gave accurate, honest, personable and very helpful recommendations. Thank you Hannah!! We felt like we knew each other and were friends.
She helped us choose drinks, appetizer, meals and desserts for my husband’s business dinner for 5 people. Selections were spot on!
I don’t think usually order pork chops, maybe once or twice before. It was amazing! My husband said it was the best one he has ever had. Definitely would order it again next time. It’s a must try.
Think the manager came over and checked on us too. Then restaurant was busy and had everything out quickly.

Finally sharing my review. unfortunately uptown was one of my Favorite places to eat in Olympia.
I would come multiple times after work during happy hour (shout out to Brad, great bar tender).
A couple months ago I came in for happy hour. They literally took everything off the menu that my coworker and I used to like! they took mac & cheese off the menu. They took sweet potato fries off the menu. They took the fish tacos off the menu etc. A couple weeks ago I came in on a Friday. I was disappointed to hear that they’re one of the only restaurants participating happy hour, but don’t do it on a Friday…. the day that everybody would like a happy hour!
Tonight, my partner and I ordered mac & cheese (no meat), an order wings (6-8 wing dings), and one order of mac & cheese with grilled chicken. 3 items! It looks like they changed the recipe for the mac & cheese…there’s two different types of pastas and it’s DRY! Who uses bowtie in mac & cheese? The wing order basically had all drums. Please take a look at the picture and tell me why our food cost $70….
It’s just become not worth it anymore.

This restaurant was an exceptional find! The dishes were flavorful and beautifully prepared, with generous portions at a great value. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. I look forward to returning and highly recommend it!!

Everything that came out of the kitchen looked so good. We settled on the wings (appetizer) and sweet potato fries (appetizer) to share and then the steak salad to share. The steak was a little overdone but they split the salad for us and gave us an extra onion ring so it’s a five stars in my book. Will be back!

Nice place for lunch, very good burgers. French fries were pretty good, not greasy. Great shakes and malts, very small beer tap list, full bar. Excellent friendly service. Not very busy at lunch time on a Friday. On street parking only.

We went on the spur of the moment and was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic food. We started with the sweet potato fires. So good. I had their Chicken Pot Pie. The topping was buttery and flakey. The inside had large pieces of carrots and chicken. The chicken was tender and moist. The inside soup was so good. Home style cooking at its best. My son had their cowboy hamburger. It was cooked perfectly. The cheese melting on it and bacon along with onion on it made it a great hamburger. We plan on going back very soon to try their other items.

Service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant—not too loud. However, one of the biggest drawbacks was the menu. It was very limited, and they also charge for removing items, which didn’t make sense to me. I can understand being charged for adding extra items, since you’re getting more, but charging for removing or subtracting items seems unreasonable. For example, I asked for the 1000 Island dressing to be removed and was charged $2 for it.
