Was wonderful place with a quaint atmosphere.
Friendly service and bar tender was a hoot. Service was always there but not hovering
Salad was big and plentiful. I got the steak bites and were a good meal in and of themselves. Had to get steak it was a steak house after all.

Wonderful food, I had the fried shrimp with sweet potato fries, it came with a house salad and an enormous crescent.
The staff is very friendly and work hard to make sure you are taken care of and keep everything clean.

We were passing through and decided to try a local spot – SO glad we did! We got a cheeseburger, fries, chicken strips, mashed potatoes with white gravy & a salad and croissant accompanied our meal. It was delish! The employees were very friendly and we appreciated the curb side option for pick up. Looking forward to passing through again so we can stop by.

Well, we aren’t from Pratt, but we were passing through. It seems like a nice fancy place, with a good selection of food. If you’re not a local, don’t expect the service to be amazing. The wait staff was attentive and chatting with everyone EXCEPT US. We had to stop staff for everything we needed. If we hadn’t, I’m afraid no one would have noticed we were sitting at a table.
We ordered blooming onion, and it was alright. The swordfish was good, cooked perfectly. The chicken fried steak was nothing special. It was hot and had a good crust but lacked flavor. The gravy had no flavor. The star of our meal was the Brussel Sprouts. They were VERY delicious. I don’t know if this place prefers just local patrons or if they just don’t get enough non-locals stopping by. It’s was like they had no idea how to treat a customer they hadn’t met before.

Delicious food, generous portion sizes, a friendly & inviting dining atmosphere. I ordered the filet mignon, which came with 2 sides. I chose the twice baked potato & a garden salad. The twice baked potato was gigantic. We also had appetizers that were superb as well! Definitely took home lots of left overs as you get lots of food so you definitely feel like you get what you pay for! Ordered dessert to take home for later & oh my, that was out of the park as well. Go support this small town Kansas restaurant with a big city meal! No regrets except that I am not a local, so I won’t be able to return for a while.

Stopped here for dinner relying on the reviews via Yelp. Enjoyed driving down the ‘old town’ roads. The Uptown is a quiet atmosphere, large dining area and tables are spacious. Ordered the taco salad bowl, turkey spinach avocado wrap and baked potato. I can attest to the sandwich which was fresh, generous size and tasty. Was told the taco salad was fresh and delicious as well. The taco bowl was generous. Even though we were stuffed, could not leave without trying their fried apple dumpling & ice cream. Told Stephanie (awesome waitress) we were splitting the dessert. She came back with two (good size) dessert cups which am sure was more than one dessert size. If you visit this restaurant, do indeed order this dessert. This meal was so filling, skipped breakfast the following day…..highly recommend !

Place was great we stopped in after a very long drive and both barely put a dent in these meals those three strips had to be a pound and a half of chicken!! It was absolutely delicious just know going in that its Super large main portions!!! Ohhh if you get the jalapeño ranch you might wanna grab the regular too just to blend them as its very hot !!!! We stop in Pratt a lot and will be coming back to try more of the menu !!!!

The food was overpriced and bland on every account. I get the feeling they don’t have any seasonings at all in the kitchen, and the meat tasted like it had been cooked from frozen. Half of my steak was overcooked, the other half was ok on that front but super bland.
Seems like more of a hang out and drink spot for locals. The place is old and creaky, and I got the impression that they thought it was fancy or something. It’s not. Maybe 60 years ago it was.
I guess I don’t have a whole lot of nice things to say. If I was traveling through again, I’d skip this place.
