Cute little restaurant. We were passing thru and read the reviews. Decided to check it out. It was busy at 9:30am. But got a table right away. Staff was very nice. We all got our food except my other son ordered the pizza burger and it came after we were close to finished with our meal. But my son said it was worth the wait and he rates the burger 5 stars!!! I didn’t get a pic. But for him to say that 5 stars. It must of been out of this world!!!

The uptown Café is one of the best cafés I have ever been to, and I have been to cafés from all over the world, including Israel and Palestine, as well as China and French. It was just incredible and the soufflés and Boulet’s and all kinds of ballets and cookies and cakes and pies and sausage and sausage, gravy and cream of sausage soup and the rye toast was absolutely to die for I felt like I was in old Warsaw fighting the Germans Over a slice of that delicious bread

We were driving thru Ironwood and began a search for a late breakfast place… There was an old school restaurant that happened to be closed on the day we were driving through so we tried another local eatery… they did not serve breakfast and it was incredibly dirty inside but luckily the lady working there suggested Uptown Cafe… it was incredibly good food and service and exceeded my expectations by a mile… everything was cooked perfectly and had lots of taste. The coffee isn’t fancy but it’s better than Folgers. Very clean inside, very kind wait staff and delicious food… would definitely eat here again! Also many options for kids!

A perfect place for a fast friendly breakfast. Great seeing all the local folks coming in to banter and enjoy the start of their day. The food was prepared quickly and to order. (Barb?) made us out of towners from Delaware feel right at home. I admire her enthusiasm as she hustled about her job. A very busy place for a good reason.

Had posted reviews last year during my visits to the area with church friends. As with all my reviews I tried to edit and add in both good and less than positive experiences to be fair. I did that with the uptown Cafe last fall. I hadn’t looked at the review in a year and was disappointed that the owner didn’t even respond. You would think if there was some negative feedback and or positive comments, like I had, that the owner would react? Obviously not. To me that says something about the owner and that’s very disappointing. I was raised to own my mistakes and apologize when I was less than perfect which is every day. So it’s just good business anyways but also the right thing to do.
