I feel like the place has significantly gone down hill. The food has changed drastically (for the worse) since the last time we were there a year ago. My mom ordered chicken biscuits and did not receive eggs with her order, despite being asked how she wanted them cooked. Plus, the atmosphere is very uncomfortable. Everything looks thrown together without any thought of the user experience. It’s very loud and the chairs screech against the floor. I still love the coffee but don’t think we will be returning for a dining experience. Definitely not worth $40. Would probably have a better experience at the kettle.

Dude… I been here a few times and it’s been soso… but today I got here, ordered a Prytana Street with sunny side up eggs and side of sausage and waited almost an hr… and had to ask to check on my order and the people still didn’t remember what it was after I checked… then got this plate of “sausage” and the person who took my order came again and asked what I was waiting on. I told her “yeah, I’m just gonna take off”.
Didn’t ask for a refund or anything. I doubt they even know how to operate the refund process.

This place is an absolute JOKE. Service is terrible. Made an order online 20 mins before leaving my location and arrived 15 after the scheduled time for pickup, food still not ready. Then they had the nerve to look at me like I did something wrong!! And on top of all order was incorrect. NEVER AGAIN. Also my pancakes were burnt. So annoyed Everything deserved a -1 review.

No, this place is genuinely horrendous. I have never rated a restaurant before. I have never gone out my way to rate a phenomenal or terrible place before. This isn’t subjectivity, this place is objectively horrendous. For two orders, I had to wait over 1.5 hours… After around 50 minutes, I was told there were still 3 orders ahead of me. I’ve been to much, much better places (e.g, Stella Southern Cafe) with better atmosphere, lines going out the door and more, and I still got my food within 10-15 minutes of ordering. It doesn’t matter how great the food is (which it’s above average—the bare minimum for any place) when the wait was this long, for two orders.
I’m gonna take my time to continue writing this because they certainly took their time to make my mediocre order.
There was no place to sit. All the tables were filled up, because loads of groups were waiting for their own food. You can see coffee and drinks on many tables being already finished, with no plates in sight. Take out was my only option.
Sure, I went during brunch hours on a Sunday. But the much better spot Stella Southern Cafe would’ve gotten me out in the first 30 minutes of waiting I had to do at “Uptown Brunch”.
Does this look something worth having to wait nearly 2 hours for? Food trucks do better in 5 minutes tops.

The service was quick and friendly, and the food was both delicious and hot! We ordered the beignets, which were fluffy, hot, and mouth-watering. My mom ordered the Bayou Benedict, and I got the Carondelet Street. These two dishes were exceptionally delicious and had a unique twist to them, which made them stand out from classic breakfast plates. We highly recommend trying them out! We left feeling full and content. In addition, we ordered a hot Chai tea latte and an iced Lavender latte, which were both amazing!

Just left here and unfortunately it was terrible for several reasons. The establishment itself is very dirty THROUGHOUT which you don’t notice at first because the decor is beautiful but nonetheless-very dirty. The food had potential but most of it was cold when it came out including a regular cup of black coffee. The avocado toast was great. The rest was disappointing as all hell except for the two kind ladies at the front counter. I don’t normally write restaurant reviews because everyone has off days but due to the prices this place has, I think anyone would want a heads up that you are NOT going to get what you pay for. In fact you possibly wont even get the two pieces of bacon that are supposed to come with the “pritanya” egg plate and you’ll most likely have to ask for that second piece like I did. Good luck to any folks considering to waste your money here and Uptown Brunch: please do better.

Owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too but I’m sure you want to know about the food and it definitely doesn’t disappoint!
Some of the best beignets we’ve had even when comparing the ones from New Orlean’s. Super fresh, warm, doughy and a good amount of powdered sugar.
Pancakes were just right and the maple syrup and homemade melted butter was perfect and loved the pecans on top too!
French toast was cooked perfect and the hint of cinnamon was just right as well as the hefty amount of powdered sugar.
The eggs, bacon and hash browns were cooked perfect and loved that the hash browns were seasoned well which I wasn’t expecting.
This place is wonderful and definitely worth the stop for some of the best breakfast in town!

I don’t know how this place is still open. This is my third attempt coming here. I keep hoping that they got it figured out between visits but, I won’t bother anymore. We walked in and could see no less than 4 employees. There were three tables unbussed and the others were full. There were several customers waiting for tables and no one was bussing. We started bussing tables but the bus bin was full. Eventually some of the employees started helping.
We ordered a mimosa flight. The glasses they came in were dirty and there was stuff floating in them (see pic). We are still waiting for food, and there are several tables here before us still waiting for theirs. We are afraid to eat it based on how dirty everything else has been so far.
Got our food… the plates were NASTY! Seriously, there was stuff all over the bottoms of all the plates, and the tops didn’t look much cleaner. They brought the wrong order for one of us. We got our money back and left.

Sweet Stash
Got the chorizo taco, barely no meat. Basically egg and cheese taco. Maybe a table spoon of meat. The tortilla was great. 3.99 kinda steep for a egg chorizo taco. I’d understand if it was 1.99 taco. Also got the bacon taco again like 5 tiny pieces of meat. Chopped bacon. Price is steep. The guy upfront was super helpful. The workers cooking in the back look upset. Maybe try adding one piece of bacon. Eggs and tortillas are cheap. Shouldn’t be 3.99 absurd. The green sauce and red sauce are delicious. I only give honest reviews.
