First time in NYC and stopped in for some slices and they were FANTASTIC. Staff was friendly and efficient. Slices came out hot and fresh. They have a few small tables and a window side bar with stools. You can’t go wrong stopping in if you’re in the Time Square area.

This Upside Pizza is located in the vicinity of the Midtown Library. It’s small but has a few tables to sit down. I chose the Sicilian with pepperoni. It was heated up and I sat down to eat it. It glistened and I could see how greasy it was. Greasy often translates into tasty. This was definitely tasty but I ate it slowly as it was a touch too rich for me. Lots of tourists pop in to eat here as the prices are reasonable. I have eaten here several times over the five years it’s been open.

It slapped! Slapped me like freaking Will Smith. Slapped me even after dinner at a high end sushi restaurant. Maybe I was hungry but this hot slice was nice. He had stacks of pies just waiting to be cooked. You can tell they crank out some serious pizzas on the daily. Lots of different options of course but when you want a slice, pepperoni is the go to. I’ll be back….in fact I wish I was there now!

Great NYC pizza when wanting a quick slice without any fuss or stress. Quick and friendly service. Late evening not busy this part of town so just a few tables and window seating if dine-in is your preference.
