Upscale lounge on 6th is a new adullt venue premiering on historic downtown 6th street in Texas City. The lounge will feature an adult atmosphere with full bar, bites and great entertainment. It features poetry nights, karaoke, comedy nights and Hookah Nights. The lounge boasts great lighting seating and a relaxed, yet up-to-the minute ambiance that Texas City has never seen and an audio system to boot. A dress code will be enforced.; however, it will be a relaxed UPSCALE environment.

VERY young and by young I mean I don’t think everyone there was 25 and up. There was a handful of people inside and a constant line at the door. Security held the line the entire night, and I don’t know how that’s good for business. To be named Upscale it doesn’t didn’t give that atmosphere or vibe. Definitely doesn’t live up to it’s name.

I’m from out of town and wanted to hit a classic local bar and club thats on 6th street and I am glad i found the Upscale Lounge! Good music and even better people making it all happen. Definitely give this place a visit if your in the area and if your looking for a quality drink and some good vibes.
