Got invited to brunch. Before I walked in, the vibes I got alerted me that I would have a great time. Got in originally was seated at the bar, asked for a seating change, and they acknowledge it. The waitress did take a minute to notice us, but it was a little busy, so it wasn’t a big deal. We placed our food order, and I know for a fact it came out in 15 minutes or less. Tried the soul food plate, which was a little bit of everything. I had three wings, one oxtail, greens, yams, cornbread, and grits. I can’t truthfully tell you if the grits were good because I don’t eat grits, but based on my girls reaction, I was told, ” Those were some good grits.” Everything else was great except the greens. I didn’t like those. The yams were missing a little flavor, but I still enjoyed them. Also, I had the French toast, not a fan, I guess it’s because I was expecting something else when I heard stuffed French toast or was just an ordinary French toast. One my girls had grits and oxtail she rated it 10/10 so you should try that.

I gave a 4 star, It was Mother’s day so I expected it to be busy. We were seated right away , my food was really good, it was Hot and that’s really important for me! I don’t like cold food! Good music a little loud at times, enjoyed the atmosphere though a little tight with the seating, Husband was happy we were able to go upstairs to cigar area but it could use better filtration system we smelled smokey when we left!

This is a painful review to write ✍️ because I want to see our people win but we gotta do better. 1st the place was a little hard to find (a couple coming in when I was leaving had to ask me where it was), 2nd I walked in and the waitstaff was kinda oblivious and said “sit wherever”, 3rd the food was lacking flavor and nothing spectacular at all. If you are going to be a small – and I do mean SMALL – hole in the wall establishment your food must be top notch! People go to the run down “hole in the wall” spots regularly for good food and strong drinks. If you are not giving that, than oh boy… you might as well close…but it Definitely has potential though

First time here and the food was so delicious and the service was great (the mimosas weren’t bad either). Had Elijah as our waiter and he was attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I had the blueberry stuffed waffle and that was the best waffle I’ve ever had. Glad we went.

Dani was amazing from the moment we sat down. She instantly got us waters and gave us a moment to order. The atmosphere was very chill and I loved the r&b old school music. I’d definitely come here again especially during happy hour!

First off you pay for parking, and if you pay with a card they charge a fee. Parking is $20 + fee of $1.66, total $21.66. I was disappointed that there full menu online was not available at the bistro. The seating outside is not bad but the tables in the back lean due to water damage. Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Trying to support my black owned.
