2nd time back in a week! It’s not a hidden gem, it’s a gem I didn’t know about, right under our nose! One of the closest pizzas that remind us of NY Pizza! Not the Terminator, but “Ill be back!”. Nice owner and his son, too. Fresh. Not too thin or thick. Just enough of that salty, cheesy, greasiness, and the perfect touch of sauce! Client for life. Top 5 on our list of pizzas in Columbia!

Tried Upper Crust for the first time today. It’s now my new go to pizza place. We’ve lived in Elkridge on the east end of HoCo for 25 years and our local joints have just fallen off lately so i went in search of a new place to get good pizza. I love good pizza. This place has great crust, it’s crispy and chewy just like it’s supposed to be. The ratio of sauce and cheese and toppings was just right too. If you’re looking for good pizza in central or eastern HoCo this is the place. It’s right near Howard High. Thank you Upper Crust for being there for me and having great pizza.

This was excellent pizza. It’s the type of place where they’re not really expecting you to sit down and eat so don’t expect much by way of ambiance, but the pizza alone is 5 stars! Perfect crust, sauce to cheese ratio and price point. I’ve had better wings, but again this review is for the pizza alone.

I have been coming here for so many years. The food is consistent and consistently delicious! I love the Tikka pizza with extra sauce! The jerk wings are spicy and so flavorful. The grilled chicken salad available during lunch is enough for a couple meals! So many great things to try.

The owner and his son make one of the best Lamb Gyros with fresh pita bread, and generous portions of feta cheese, greek yogurt, and sliced lamb. I’ve only had Gyros this good in well-ranked Greek restaurants. Their Cheese Steak subs are also excellent with plenty of meat and a good balance of cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. I’ve yet to try their pizzas and salads (I do need to balance the food groups ).

I had a really bad experience at Upper Crust Pizza and honestly wouldn’t recommend it. The service was extremely slow — it took almost an hour for our order to arrive, and when it finally did, the pizza was cold and soggy. The crust, which is supposed to be their specialty, was hard and tasted stale.
To make things worse, the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful when we pointed out the issue. Instead of offering a replacement or an apology, they just shrugged it off. The place didn’t feel clean either, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming.
For the price they charge, I expected much better quality and service. Definitely not worth it — there are plenty of other pizza places that actually care about their food and customers.
The owner keep talking while we eating there. He so rude.

Got the cheese steak sub and cheese bread. It’s tough to find a good cheese steak but this one especially didn’t disappoint. The cheese bread was pretty lame but the red sauce tasted rancid and really off. Things happen in a restaurant but just something to check out or consider. Otherwise, a good sub especially traveling for work.

We ordered Upper Crust Pizza on Saturday, the pizza was okay, and the crust was crispy which is similar to New York pizza however, that was the only similarity. The pizza didn’t have much seasoning to it however I will say the Calzone is really good. The owner was friendly and service was prompt. Yes, I will return for the Calzones.
