Chew Chew must TRY!❤️❤️ kids loved the train layout. We were driving by and saw it was busy at 10:30 on a Friday so had to stop in. All the food was great; smoked salmon Benedict was a hit pancakes and waffles were good and price was right. I would return but won’t be in the area any time soon.

My boyfriend went in to get us dinner and I decided to get something different and only 1 things was right, I asked for my burger to be well done and this looks half cooked, my fries didn’t have cheese yet I was charged for it and he told me that the server was a bit rude towards him when he was trying to order. Stayed in Chester, PA for business and decided to get breakfast for dinner. Tried Upland Diner and overall I had a pleasant meal for an affordable price! This is clearly a family owned restaurant with locals that must visit often as everyone seemed to know each other and the food they like to eat. I had the hungry man’s breakfast which was more food than I could eat and that’s saying something! The pancakes were huge and fluffy, the bacon cooked perfectly (so crispy) and there were onions in the home fries which is a nice touch. My eggs were made to my liking and my servers were pleasant and helpful. The outside of the restaurant needs some love as the parking lot should be repaved and they could use an updated sign. The front lobby also could use a refresh. But besides some cosmetic updates, I liked my experience and would eat here again.

Our group was here last night for dinner before going to the Walnut Street Theater. We have a group.of 9 women and everyone’s orders vary. Some of us get full meals, some get hot sandwiches, sometimes breakfast plates. We have season tickets at the theater, and always come to upland diner before our shows. Service is fast & the servers are staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. The food is always on point and the prices are great! We love going there to start our night out. If you haven’t been there, go and show this place some love!

We luckily stopped in and enjoyed lunch. The staff is excellent, especially Christine. Everything was good but we particularly liked the mashed potatoes and the chicken croquettes. Next time around, we’ll show up a bit later to so we can taste the ribs (they were quite ready). They’ve got daily specials and numerous desserts to choose from as well. The Guinness stout cake w the hazelnut mousse filling was amazing!

I had a great experience at upland diner this morning! My breakfast was absolutely delicious! My food was nice and hot and I couldn’t believe how big the portions were. Props to the cooks. My waitress was so nice and attentive! If you love diner food and the friendly diner atmosphere then you definitely want to come to upland diner.

I choose to have breakfast at this diner my only complaint was the decaf coffee the first cup I received had some little nets in it the waiter tried to tell it was coffee grounds I asked for a new cup of coffee. The second cup was fine I wanted a refill he brought me another cup with nets in it. I was very disappointed. I get things happen try not to make the same mistake twice! I was alarmed that the coffee was not trashed and the coffee pot cleaned. Thank you but no thank you!
