The Columbus Pump House is a landmark in both design and experience. It’s a historical building built in 1903 and designed by architect Harrison Albright. After many incarnations, today, the Pump House showcases its original architectural grandeur while offering a well-designed, yet laidback, food and craft beer experience. Come join us for a beer and a bite under the original archways or on the patio with views of the rushing White River and iconic Robert Stewart Bridge. Super cool trendy place that seems like it would be fun to hang out for a while. I came for lunch and it felt like they were inattentive to our table. We were waiting a while for them to take our order and a while to get our bill and we’re waiting for a refill. This was my first time here so I’m not sure if it was an off day or typical. The atmosphere and environment right on the tracks in downtown Columbus was cool. Definitely worth a try and assume that the service is usually faster than what I experienced.

Great service and a friendly vibe. Amazing variety and quality of beers and that’s what made Upland famous in Indiana. The sandwiches were delicious. Great looking menu. Lots of vegetarian choices. The pizza was just OK. Dough did not have a lot of flavor and the sauce was unimpressive. Sundays $4 drafts.

Visiting my son and he took me here for dinner. The food was outstanding. I had the pulled pork and had the pizza. Both were fantastic. My side was the Cole slaw and I do not recommend, it was very bland.

Good food in a cool building. Great local beer with lots of variety. Get the pretzel, the mustard will most certainly clear the sinuses! The burgers have a nice char on them, the turkey and guac is really good and the blackened chicken is very tasty. The bed for the chicken is absolutely dynamite, however the chicken itself was a bit dry. Will definitely come back. The patio is dog friendly too!

The Columbus Pump House! It’s a total gem that’s got it all – excellent design and a fantastic vibe. And when it comes to food and drink, they know what they’re doing. You can chow down on some delicious burgers made with local meats, scarf down some pizza, and even share some appetizers with your buds. And if you’re in the mood for something lighter, their salads are top-notch. Trust me, this place is the real deal.
