The Carmel Tap House offers a distinctly Upland atmosphere just north of Indianapolis. We took a pinch of lovable Bloomington quirkiness and a dash of Carmel culture and added a heap of hospitality. We love Upland in Carmel! We’ve been coming there for 10 years, and we’ve had excellent consistent service and food. I’m glad they added a few wine options since I don’t always feel like beer with my meal. The server Zachary is one of the best servers I’ve ever had! We like going there for early dinner with our kids, and while it’s kid friendly, it still has a bar/pub vibe. The beer is fresh, the food usually comes out nice and hot, and everyone that works there seems happy and friendly. I also think their menu is perfect. I usually go with bar food like burgers or my favorite Nashville hot chicken with fries! But anyway, thanks for being our favorite local restaurant!

We are so fortunate to have this so close to home! We can ride our bikes here. I guess we could TECHNICALLY walk here but I’m old and tired But, I digress.
Everything we’ve had here has been great. Service is great. I’m a fan of their burgers, and I believe I’ve tried every one of them on the menu. The sweet plum burger is my favorite, it’s a wonderful mix of flavors As an added bonus, they truly do cook your burger to order!
There’s a reason we keep coming back. It’s a winner.

Food was average bar food. The bison eggrolls were my favorite out of everything. Didn’t like the tortilla soup. The sandwich’s were average. This is a fun drinking environment to go with friends, but not to eat.

We were going to go someplace else for lunch, but fate brought us here! Chandler was a very professional and knowledgeable host. The Plum Burger was YUM!!
The Chocolate & Cherry Bread Pudding is good, but get the sauce on the SIDE! It’s VERY TART!

Jackie (I hope I spelled her name correctly and if not, I apologize) was an amazing waitress. She was helping my date and I pick an appetizer for our first spot to hit and steered us away from one that would be too filling. Thankfully we can now go to another spot for our adventure and she made our night already! Thank you again 🙂

I was greeted when I walked in. Great customer service. I wasn’t a fan of the sandwich. I ordered a sprite but it tasted like syrup so I stuck with water. The food was hot. I sat outside under the umbrella and enjoyed the scenery. I then ordered a brownie for dessert. It tasted like it was either freezer burned or it had been sitting in the refrigerator for days. This was my first visit at this location. I’ve been to the one in castleton several times before.

Got here kind of late, 9:30 on a Monday evening. Jamie the bartender was incredibly accommodating. Made sure we got our food order in before the kitchen closed. The smoked and grilled wings were cooked to perfection and the ranch as well as the blue cheese were definitely made in house. My salmon blt was delicious, fish was cooked beautifully. My husband loved his burger as well. Their drafts are unique and Jamie paired our drinks perfectly with our food choices. I was overwhelmed by the experience we had being a Monday night and closed to closing, this is definitely a spot we will frequent when we are back in town. Highly recommended Upland!!

Man do I not do this very often ! Today the service was exceptional, didn’t get the guys name but he got everything we needed with a smile on his face and no complaints. Food was excellent, beer was excellent, place has nice decor. Probably the first time I’ve given 5 stars in 2 years!
