This is a very small restaurant. The menu is on the wall when you walk in. Not very easy to read. They have day old pastries for 30% off. I like that. Theyre cheaper and it shows they focus on freshness. Im not sure how the kitchen works but the food is super slow. Its good that we got these day old brownies to munch on. I ordered the French toast casserole. It came out and about 3 mins later the other half of the order came out. The brownies are delicious. Even day old. The French toast casserole was very good. I love the flavor. The texture isnt what I was expecting. Id drive back for it though. The rest stop sandwich is really good. Overall a good experience. The owner seems very involved. I would suggest individual menus. The font is difficult to read and a lot of the older customers in front of me were having a hard time. Then they had to read the menu by the register and that slowed down the ordering process. Id recommended this place. Come on Saturday so you can get the French toast casserole. Its only here 1 day a week.

This is the cutest place! The breakfast sandwich was perfect. The atmosphere is amazing fire a breakfast and reading or even catching up on emails. They have plants, grifts and play music. The plant cutting wall is such a cute idea! We will definitely be back soon.

I picked up dinner last night for my wife and myself. The sandwiches on the menu looked very eclectic and original. I ordered the Up-a-letta, my wife ordered the Poinsett Club. Both were about 90% bread with a the smallest serving of meat I have ever seen. It couldn’t have been more than 2oz. On my way to the register I grabbed some pimento cheese out of the cooler, thinking it would a good snack the next day. I just sat down to have some and opened it and it’s covered in moldy spots. Terrible food, terrible value.

I don’t have a problem with expensive cuisine. I would rather pay a lot and get good, clean food. However, the sandwiches barely constituted a meal and just tasted like mouthfuls of dry bread. Obviously I didn’t taste the moldy pimento cheese.

I don’t know how anywhere can expect to stay in business operating like this.

As a local, this is one of the best (if not THE best) restaurant in upstate SC. They, hands down, have the BEST baguettes I have ever had in my life (and I have been to France).

Upcountry Provisions was a favorite of mine but I went today and it was not an experience that will bring me back. We only had a couple of things on our order and the food took over 30 min to arrive. We were looking for a quality breakfast and not to wait 30 min for simple breakfast food from the time we ordered until it arrived. one breakfast sandwich and a side of eggs and heated up potato salad should not take 30 minutes at a casual place like this. When I ordered breakfast potatoes they had dairy, though there was no indication on the menu or from the front staff when I ordered that there was dairy. The staff did refund it once I found that out. They explained that they just heat up their potato salad and that’s what they use as their breakfast potatoes. The only other thing I was able to eat was the baked egg on the menu which was so dry and unappealing. The staff seems to be really busy and unable to fully handle the environment of the restaurant.

Great food and even some live music on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. It was busy, so be patient- the food was worth it!

The food is good but the consistency, service and pricing are not. They almost always forget the sides that come with the sandwiches and when you’re paying so much, that seems pretty reasonable to expect the food you order. The workers sound annoyed when you call to order or have questions. Please do not order the $4 side of bacon, it’s basically robbing you.

I really wanted to love this place. I love to support local businesses! But $15 for a sandwich I could have made myself at home with ham from Costco (Country Homeboy) that wasn’t very good? Feels wrong. The Grilled Blue cheese was barely grilled. Sandwiches have barely any filling… overpowered by the chutney. Coffee is self-serve and was cold. Too bad, this could be the perfect stop on the way back from hiking.

Poor service – entire order was wrong.
We ordered 2 of the same sandwiches, asked for no onion (insisted twice and were told nothing in this sandwich has onion), and for dressing on the side.
Order took 20mn to come on a no -busy day. Kelly had an attitude when handing us the sandwiches.
Order came with onions in both sandwiches, one sandwich was dripping with dressing, the other one had dressing in it and no dressing on the side. Some ingredients were also missing.
When I took my plate, Kelly gave me an attitude with no apology.

Kelly did not refund the meal in full – I have the receipt to prove it.
She only offered to make me another sandwich when we were about to leave, she walked by us several times with the same sour attitude without saying a word.
She only came to offer to make something after I asked her coworker what her name was.
