Passed by on the side street it looks like just a BBQ stand, but go into the corner entrance and you’ll find a dining room and restaurant. As with any new place i started with a BBQ sandwich place and was really pleased. They offer four levels of sauces and i picked the medium, just below their hot and it was spicy enough for me. Good enough for me to come back next time I’m in Covington

We drove 40-ish minutes from Fort Pillow State Historic Park in search of good BBQ. We were not disappointed. We ordered a pound of pulled pork, a whole rack of ribs, catfish, slaw, macaroni and cheese balls, fried mushrooms, and 2 cheeseburgers. Three of us don’t really like fish – and we say the catfish is good. The ribs and pulled pork were delicious. The owner and cook were both very friendly. We would definitely dine-in again if we were in the area.
