Tried Up the Hill Grill and loved it! We ordered the Maple Bourbon Bacon Burger and the Caprese Burger, both were delicious and cooked perfectly. The manager was super attentive and checked on us throughout the meal, which made the experience even better. The sweet potato waffle fries were the real standout! Fresh, crispy, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. We’ll definitely be back to try the seared ahi and filet mignon.

We headed up with friends to do some wine tasting. Stopped here for lunch because we heard they had good food. We heard right! Had a great time talking with Nancy, our server. She provided some food options and was able to answer all of our questions about the menu. Enjoyed the sliders. Love French fries, but not a fan of think steak fries. These were hot and crispy when then arrived. They were the garlic parmesan fries. Sliders were on point. Flavor town for sure. Social distancing was enforce and limited seating capacity. Stop on by and enjoy some food.

Was looking for a great burger and this place delivered! Shannon was amazing! Hubby got the Popper burger and I got the rancher. So delicious! Fried pickles and onion rings with great ranch. So glad we stopped here. We will be back.

They sent me an email VIP coupon for a free appetizer with entree purchase on Nov 9. I came on Nov 17th and they said they wouldn’t honor it. “We don’t do that anymore”. So now we don’t go here anymore.

Cute little grill right outside of Julian, CA. Hamburgers were thick and juicy. Assortment of fries. Beverages come in the bigger mason jars with free refills. Condiments brought to you as a six pack. Jalapeño poppers were amazing. 4 stars for only having happy hour on the weekdays, and specials weren’t so “special”. Overall good food, with fast service.
