Very nice Rooftop restaurant with great views of downtown Alpharetta! I can only imagine how busy they are during the warmer months! I ordered the Lamb Sliders which came with fries and was tasty! I should’ve requested medium because it came well done. I had a glass of French Chardonnay and the bartender, Nick was very helpful! I will definitely return!

A couple of weeks ago, my mom and I came here to check out the Christmas decor and menu options. Upon entering, you can see how decorative and festive the restaurant is for Christmas, and there’s Christmas music playing throughout the building. Also, you can see the square from the rooftop, was beautiful with the Christmas tree and candy canes.
For my drink, I ordered a mocktail and for my entree, I ordered shrimp tacos and fries. My meal was simple, yet pretty good!
Theh service was pretty good. Our waiter was very kind and helpful when we had questions, and he gave nice recommendations. Overall, it was a great outing, and a nice experience as well!

I recently visited Up on the Roof for the first time with a friend and overall we had a positive experience. You enter the building from a side entrance and then take an elevator up to the 5th floor where the doors open up to a small landing area that leads to the host stand and bar area just around the corner. Just beyond the open bar area is a nice patio/deck area with multiple seating areas overlooking downtown Alpharetta. The setting alone is worth the trip. The panoramic views from the terrace are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset and the ambiance is a nice balance between upscale and relaxed, making it a great spot for after-work drinks, dinner or a special occasion. We did not have to wait for the elevator since it was early in the evening when we arrived and the crowds were still small but as we left a few hours later it was getting busier and a small line began forming on the ground floor to go up as we were leaving. During our visit we had drinks, appetizers, and dinner and the service we received was excellent. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the drinks and other items on the menu. Mixed drink prices were a little pricey compared to other bars in the area but the food prices seemed to be more reasonable. Unfortunately, the food didn’t have the same wow factor as the view. The lettuce wraps we ordered were very salty, the brussel sprouts drenched in too much vinegrtette, and the crab cakes were very thin and flat and slightly mushy. I still enjoyed myself and the overall ambiance made up for the food and I will still likely come back in the future to give them another try and hopefully the food will be better next time.

I had been wanting to try UP on the Roof for a while, but never had the chance until last week. One of my co-workers arranged for an after work get-together for 8 of us and I’m so happy she did! The ambiance was great, the food was delicious, but our waiter, Khal, was the absolute BEST! He was professional, friendly, and fielded all of our questions and special requests without blinking an eye. All 8 of us work in customer service, and all 8 of us agreed that Khal’s customer service was top-notch. The food was good, but moderately expensive. $22.00, for a smash burger is a bit much, even if was a double paddy, but it was tasty and the fries that came with it were excellent, so I was happy to splurge. Other entrees that were ordered were the Shrimply the Best (shrimp and grits), I’m Quinoa on You (quinoa bowl with chicken), and the Clucking Good Cobb Salad. All of the entrees were well received, but Khal is the one that left the best impression on all of us. If all of UP’s waitstaff is like him, then we won’t hesitate to come back again!

We’re visiting Alpharetta, GA on vacation and decided to check out Up on the Roof—and we’re so glad we did! Our waiter, Khal, was absolutely awesome—super friendly, attentive, and quick. The deviled eggs were fantastic and the drinks were even better! But honestly, my favorite thing about this place is the view—absolutely gorgeous. A close second? The clever and creative names on the menu. Such a fun touch! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Great atmosphere! Perfect spot to grab lunch when the weather is nice. The view is beautiful. We went on a Sunday at noon and enjoyed the fact that the brunch menu had a good mix of breakfast and lunch items, so there is a little for everyone. My husband had the burger and I had the peach flatbread. Both were delicious! The service was also fantastic and everyone was very friendly. We will be back again!
