Went to their Valentine’s Day pizza making event and it was great fun. I downgraded the rating this time only because I found the event description from corporate to have been confusing. That wound up costing us significantly more than the event fee. Included was a free drink (but that meant a non-aloholic drink) and that was not clarified in the offering. In addition, the Event rite fee adds another 15% to the total–amount fee that could be avoided with a web site change permitting direct reservations at no additional cost. Still felt this was a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your partner!

UNO Pizzeria and Grill in Winter Garden.
We were seated right away and then greeted by our waitress, Lisa. She was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. UNO has a great menu with plenty of options to choose from. This time, I decided to try their soup of the day — Italian Wedding Soup. Unfortunately, they only offer one size, and the portion was quite small for the price. Soup was good. I also ordered the Baked Stuffed Chicken with sweet potato fries and baked veggies. The veggies could have used a bit more seasoning, but the sweet potato fries were perfect.
Next time, we’ll definitely try the pizza since that’s their specialty. They offer different seating options, including booths, tables, and patio seating.

I ordered two items the shrimp and crab dip which was good and a burger well done simply because I am pregnant. The burger came out undercooked and when they brought it back out it they just reheated it when the server told me they would remake it. They did end up remaking it and the end result they honestly could’ve kept it. The burger was extremely burnt along with the cheese and I am just disappointed. The burger tastes so burnt and the fact I paid for a burnt tasting burger is insane.

Today was our first visit to UNO’s. Robert, the host was very nice and provided recommendations upon seating us. Dee our server, provided great customer service. We ordered the deep dish UNO loaded with veggies and meat. If you prefer a lot of cheese, you may want to ask for extra, I liked the way it was. My hubby likes a little more cheese. We also added a house salad , everything was delicious. If you like leftovers order larger, we ordered a large and left with half of the pizza perfect for another meal. Dee boxed our remaining pizza to go. We’ll definitely be back again.

We had to call the restaurant because we waited into be seated 10 mins and no hostess was around to greet us until we told someone on the phone that we had been waiting and someone showed up. The food was good. Service not so much. We asked for appetizers like chicken wings, mozzarella sticks (fries included) and also ordered a personal dip dish for each one in our party. The server brought the appetizers and no fries. When my husband asked her for the fries she said she was leaving them to bring with the pizza. Who eats pizza with fries? That was a side for the chicken wings. Very weird. The pizza was kind of dry. Crab and shrimp dip was my favorite.

I used to love this pizza place for its food quality and great service, but today I had a terrible experience with a takeout order of an “Extravaganza” pizza:
• No one was at the pickup counter. After waiting six minutes, I had to go inside to ask for help.
• After another six-minute wait, my pizza finally arrived—but it wasn’t freshly brought from the kitchen; it had already been sitting prepared on a shelf for at least 12 minutes and was already cold.
• The pizza lacked enough cheese, had almost no mushrooms, very few bell peppers and red onions, the “cherry” tomatoes were actually a large tomato chopped up, and the zucchini was chopped unappetizingly.
This is the only pizza I usually order here, so I know their usual quality—but this was my worst experience and a huge disappointment. I used to recommend this place, but after today, I’m not sure I will anymore.

Had a delicious deep dish pizza, spinach and artichoke dip, yummy berry and goat cheese salad with bread pudding bites (a bit over cooked and some burt crispy)for dessert. Everything tasted great, we also had some beer and their house margarita I highly recommend! Unfortunately we sat in a booth by the bar and the bar customers (8 people spread out) were EXTREMELY LOUD, a bit intoxicated and even came over to our table to talk to us (slurring and intoxicated) interrupted our date to talk about who know what, then proceeded to invite us to follow us to the next bar with them. Clearly regulars, because the bartender was going to see them that week at a party. After they left, it was nice and quiet for dessert.

Pretty crapy service & pizza was awful. It was supposed to be a meat lovers pizza and they pour a whole gallon of tomato sauce on top of it, can’t even taste the pizza, also my glass cup was filthy dirty.

this place will remind you of east side marios if you’ve been in Canada’s restaurants. taste is NOT the same though. while the steak was okay at best -and the loaded mashed is basically loaded mashed (the item i liked most), food here needs a LOT of modifications, if this place were to make more money.. would i visit again? not if i had options. I’m rating the food poorly, but i stress that the service is the exact opposite. Alex (server) and Tish (hostess and manager) were nothing short of awesome. we had the cheese sticks, which had no flavor and marinara dip could come in a bigger portion cause it’s the only thing that accentuates the taste of this appetizer. the steak and loaded mash, a 3 of 5, for its price, not bad.. the pasta shrimp scampi, no flavor at all. my friend who runs a restaurant had said something that it could be the fire. place is clean, the place had a homey vibe.. just keep the salt close to you.
