Imagine a colorful Mexican plaza tucked inside San Francisco’s Financial District and SOMA neighborhood. Our philosophy is simple: keep it fun and make it fresh. We handcraft five salsas, 100 pounds of carnitas, and every tortilla and chip in-house, every day. Our beans are always fresh. If there’s juice in your drink, we just squeezed it. And we always keep the atmosphere fun, whether enjoying tacos on the outdoor patio or winding down with a margarita at the bar. Salud!

After dropping off Bushwacker Bob at the Ferry Building I headed straight up California to the world famous Uno Dos Tacos Restaurant for their equally famous Tacos! Normally.. when the taco gods call to me I head down to the Mission district because of the vast variety of taquerias, but today it’s going to be Uno Dos Tacos! And…I’ll tell you why! They’re perfect in every aspect from the tortillas and meats to the salsas and chips, most restaurants have multitudes of choices, and make a few of them good, but Uno Dos Tacos has a straight forward menu that includes just those items that they specialize in. So, none are good because good isn’t good enough, they’ve all got to be great! Having a smaller specialized menu let’s the team focus on greatness, and what you get are Amazing Tacos! 5 stars every single time! ☆☆☆☆☆

Driest tacos I’ve ever had. We ordered delivery from Uno Dos Tacos and I don’t know if they just forgot to put/give us sauces for the tacos, but we didn’t get any and so the asada and carnitas was utterly disappointing. Not even lime was provided! The pescado was a bit better, there was some sauce in there. I should’ve just ordered more of these. The tortillas were also dry and not the usual oily tortillas. Fits the theme of “healthy” downtown food. The best thing from this whole order was probably the chips and guac and salsa, which I had to put some in my tacos to enjoy. It sucks we don’t have much Mexican options downtown anymore. I’d probably wouldn’t order here again unless the office treats us again.

One of my favorite Mexican spots in SF! Got the chips and guacamole, and they were so fresh and delicious! The onion and tomatoes added such flavor and the chips weren’t too salty. Also got the tinga chicken tacos which were topped with grilled onions and cilantro. The verde salsa and onions were the perfect combination on the chicken and I wanted to order more! The music was amazing and the outdoor seating was a vibe as well! Highly recommend for a quick lunch or dinner if you’re in the city!

We got the street tacos and 4 tacos plus guacamole and spend around 45$ including tip. Totally worth the price. My favorite was the street tacos. So authentic and delicious

What an awesome spot! It is easy to locate with so much seating available. My to go food lasted all day and the food that I ate while I was there was incredible! Not to mention how delicious the margaritas were!!!

Awesome taco place, we went with 20+ people and still eventually fit in. Our group ordered a lot of shots which were all fast, as well as a bunch of pitchers. Food wise we got the tacos, nachos, burritos and some other stuff and it was all great. My favorite thing is ordering from the website which made it much easier.
