This really great food spot not only has a convenient location and parking but a really efficient ordering system in this food truck lot. I was able to try three flavors of wings. I had the lemon pepper, the garlic Parm, and buffalo. All three flavors were amazing. I can’t wait to try the other ones. Absolute favorite thing they had on there was the frosted potato side. It sounded very interesting so I went ahead and ordered it and it did not disappoint. It was the cheesy potato that had this sweet crusty topping from cornflakes, and it was so amazing we ordered two. We also got the baked beans, and it was also delicious. I tried three of their drinks which was an Unk punch, the blue raspberry lemonade, and the kiwi melon. All three were amazing. I would have all three injected into an IV into my arm. I can’t wait to return!

The brisket tasted unseasoned and definitely dry. It was not freshly cooked, couldn’t have been. I get it takes a while to smoke/cook brisket but it should’ve been juicier and warmer. The chicken was unseasoned and not even warm as well. The “frosted” cheesy potatoes had actual cereal in it….lol why? When my bf asked the guy what it was, he failed to mention there is actual cereal flakes on top of the potatoes. To each their own but that was just weird to us, it made no sense. We were thinking there was going to be some type of white cheese that made it look “frosted”. Overall though the potatoes were sort of bland. The honey lemon pepper wings barely had seasoning, I couldn’t taste any honey and there was a weird after taste. The Asian Thai chili wings were okay. The blue raspberry lemonade tasted like watered down kool-aid. I couldn’t even finish mine. Oh and the sweet “creamed” corn was okay but I wouldn’t call that creamed corn. We were kind of upset that we spent $40 almost $50 for that. We should have known the food wasn’t going to be good when we didn’t smell any food being cooked. I know it’s a food truck but no smell…..at all? I think what they did was just warm up food that was already cooked from a day or two ago because several times their power went out while getting our food ready and where was the smoker? It didn’t take long to get our food after ordering. They opened at 4 and we got there at 5 so where is the fresh food? Never going back… ever. Would NOT recommend.

Found Unkle Reems on Instagram & glad we gave it a try! This is a food truck ocated in what’s called the outpost (other food trucks on site). Good options for eating there with music and a good atmosphere. The only downside is limited parking.
Now for the food a must try is the Loaded Brisket Fries…OMG these were so good!
Hubby had a meat sampler sausage, chicken & brisket all had good flavors. He was a little disappointed that the chicken was on the bone and not pulled but nothing bad. Baked beans were on the sweet side and loaded with brisket (great if you like sweet, too sweet for me). The frosted scalloped potatoes were an interesting twist with great flavor.
Overall this is a great spot for good BBQ. Food truck prices but comparative to other BBQ spots.

One of the best if not the best bbq in Tampa!!! Customer service is amazing. Food is fresh and delicious. If you are in the Tampa Bay Area I would definitely stop by and try this amazing food. Just like a home cook meal if you’d ask me. Southern hospitality at its best!!!

My wife and I were on Vacation and came across unkle reems on tiktok. The reviews were great so we decided to give them a try. We ordered 10 tai chili and 10 garlic parm wing with fries. I paid for 20 wings and only received 8 tai chili and 6 garlic parm wings. The wings taste amazing just didnt receive everything i paid for!!!!

We got the Unks platter , brisket , smoked sausage and smoked chicken were all amazing. Brisket beans and creamy street corn were both fantastic. The Barbeque sauce wasnt necessary but it tasted great. Finished our visit off with blue raspberry lemonade and a banana pudding. I would give them 10 stars if i could. Nice area to sit and enjoy your meal w plenty of seating . See you all next time we are in town

Yes, Yes, and Yes!!! Just go ahead and make it over here ASAP. It’s hard to find good BBQ in this city especially beef brisket. The brisket was so tender and juicy falling apart by the touch. The corn is like a Mexican styled cream corn delicious. The fried okra…CHECK! and the smoked wings were juicy and flavorful I had the honey garlic Parmesan and sweet chili flavored. Then we doubled back again on the blue raspberry lemonade. It’s worth the price and the trip whether you’re in the area or not. The staff were super friendly, and for those looking they serve Halal food! Nice job Uncle Reems!!!
