When I tell you, this is the best nachos I’ve ever had. I have been to every Mexican oriented restaurant in the Birmingham area, and most of them in New Orleans as that is where I’m from. This is the first place I’ve been where the meat had actual flavor! Service was great too. Will definitely be returning!

Food was fresh and tasted great! Staff was friendly and delivered the food to our table very quickly. We got the steak burritos and would definitely order them again. Easy walk from hotels in the area. Would highly recommend.

I have visited University Tacos twice in the past week or so. Both times I have special ordered the Spinach quesadilla with no cheese and no sour cream. Both times I have bitten into meat . First chicken and today it was beef! WOW

My son and I were going to Prevail Coffee (get the Alabama stinger) and ended up parking near here. So we stopped in and got the Roberts’s burrito (steak and chorizo) and the Miya’s con huevo bowl. Yalllllll e are happy with being forced to park further away. So good.
