The Real Deal is the University of Beer – Rocklin which delivers family fun, beer, and out of this world flavors.
Let’s start with service which was solid, quick greeting, suggestions, and friendly. The server changed once but it flowed well they both seamed to know what was going on with us.
Let’s talk beer….they normally have close to 50 beers and some ciders on tap…all chilled 9/10 on selection!
Moving right along to the atmosphere which has tons of fun benches, statues, great inside and outside seating including a bar area. They also have a game area you can grab something for you and the family to play or the kids to keep busy.
Now the Main event: The Food. I had the BLT wrap which was outstanding so delicious and well done, a rare rare 10/10. It had was fried pickles and fries 9/10. I grabbed into the food so quickly I didn’t take more pictures and I’ve been here before the food is outstanding not very healthy at all but flavors are on point. I will update on next visit. Cheers!

If you’re looking for a great spot to grab a beer and enjoy a nice meal with friends or family, this place is definitely worth checking out! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — and the service made it even better. Our server, KC, was amazing — super friendly, attentive, and really knew her stuff when it came to beer. She even recommended a beer that paired perfectly with my food. If you stop by, definitely ask KC for a recommendation based on your favorite beer style. She won’t disappoint!

They were attentive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about both the food and the beer selection. Every recommendation was spot on, and we never felt rushed or forgotten.
The steak was absolutely amazing. It was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and easily the highlight of the meal. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food here, and it really shows.
Between the incredible service, great food, and excellent beer selection, this was an all around fantastic experience. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend University of Beer, especially if you have the chance to be taken care of by K.C.

Amazing neighborhood bar! Lots of drink options, but you might find that nearly anywhere. The super friendly staff, CeeCee, Stephanie, Daniel, KC, Izzy (sorry if I missed your name!) really make the difference. I also love the outdoor seating: great for Spring/Summer/Fall evenings. Monthly specials are will worth stopping by. And before I forget, ask about the VIP club. Do the math (I’m a numbers guy) and it is well worth the cost. Bottom line, the people are amazing, the food is great, and the variety of drinks is worth stopping by.

Best day off ever! I really wanted to get a beer and food. Then turn into an epic experience! From start to finish I had such an amazing time at University of Beer. We had the Trio Shrimp, Korean Shirt Steak, Mango Salad, Toffee Cake and a burger. The food was so delicious. I really enjoyed the Trio Shrimp with an arugula salad. So many amazing textures and flavors! Cece was truly a cherry on top—she went above and beyond by making our first dining experience amazing! Nat, the other server was super friendly and accommodating as well. Highly recommend from a beer lover!

We love it here. One of the best (if not THE best) place to eat, drink, and have a great time. We have been here on a few occasions and have had a absolutely amazing time each time. They have a great beer selection that changes and has something for everyone. Their food is D-licious and again with a great mix of options. Our favorite thing though is the service. Everyone here is SO NICE and knowledgeable about everything. CeCe is the BEST. Everything she suggested/recommended was exactly what we wanted/needed. She was so funny and sweet. We had so much fun with her 100/10 stars.

Visited University of Beer Rocklin tonight. I was pleasantly surprised—this is a great bar near my neighborhood. I just found out they have a Happy Hour Monday–Friday with buy one, get one free food specials 3PM – 6PM. Too bad I missed it today, but I’ll definitely be back next week!
I tried the new menu item called Firecracker Sashimi, which the server said started this month. It was excellent—any salmon lover will enjoy it, and it pairs perfectly with beer. The bar boasts nearly 40 beers on tap, and they all looked delicious.
If you’re looking for good beer, great food, and super friendly service, you can’t miss this place!

I’m only writing this review because I need to rave about our waitress, CiCi! My family and I visited a few months ago for the first time and were lucky enough to have CiCi as our server. Her service was truly amazing — honestly some of the best I’ve ever had.
She was the main reason we came back today for a second visit. We’re from Nevada and don’t get to be in the area often, but this is absolutely our new go-to spot. And yes, the food was great! But we genuinely came in today hoping to be seated with CiCi again.
She also fit right in with our family, which says a lot. We’re loud, love to joke around, and my dad can be a bit… a lot — and CiCi jumped right in, bantering back and forth with him like she’d known us forever. That kind of energy made the experience even better and really set her apart.

The hubby and I come here often and LOVE the vibe. The staff is always welcoming and attentive. Cece is our all-time favorite! She even spoils our 3 dogs when we bring them in. We have made this our Monday evening tradition!
