We came for the veterans day meals, but will definaly be come back, the foods is amazing with some of the best taste in the thai-mango salad it came with 6 shrimp. The burger was huge and was cooked to prefecture and tasted amazing. The wings were juicy and crunchy.
The staff was friendly and on top of everything!
Nate and Isabella were both friendly, great service and made us feel welcome.
They also have a dog friendly patio with a meal for the puppy, and it’s a good meal.

Food was good. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was nice. There were a few TVs on but it wasn’t so loud. We were still able to hear each other talk over the table. They had two sours. We ordered 2 of the 3. We had the blueberry muffin and intindiction(?). Both were good. The fish tacos were crispy and made with cod. Nachos were decent, not enough toppings. The pork fries were good but too much toppings.

Huge fan of this bar and restaurant! My family and I were looking for a convenient place for some food and drinks and we found the University of Beer.
Don’t get fooled by the name, they definitely have way more than just beer. A loaded bar, full menu, and even options for kids. They will even feed your dog for free! The food for dogs could be for humans, it is a bowl of rice, chicken breast, veggies, and a fried egg. Very impressive how much they care about their guests and how family friendly they are.
What was also shocking was seeing the two owners working at the restaurant. After talking to them, they said they are from Davis and they are a family owned business. They are not corporate and you can tell based on how the owners interacted with all their customers. They are very friendly and the staff seem to reflect that as well.
The food was also very good. They have all the classics and we were surprised by the Thai options. Not going to find that at most traditional bar/restaurants. Try their breakfast burritos (available all day – I got one for dinner) and their lettuce cups. The lettuce cups are fantastic.
With plenty of TVs for sports, lots of drink options (they said over 40 beer on taps!), and delicious food, this place will definitely be in our rotation of food and drink spots. Thanks you Nate and MK for a wonderful experience! See you again soon!

Benz and Isabella were the greatest duo to be served by. Isabella immediately welcomed us in when we walked into the restaurant and sat us at their lounge while we waited for a table. When we were seated, Benz was exceptionally friendly and attentive and provided the best customer service I have experienced in a while! The food was hot and delicious and the vibe of the staff and restaurant were overall 10/10. We were there to celebrate my sister’s birthday and they did not disappoint. We all had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back! Thank you guys.

This is a sports bar, yes, but even better for me, it’s a Packers bar. They have 5 other locations that anyone can go to during the 3 hour window the Packers are playing if they don’t want to hear cheering and cowbells. The staff are all amazing(Amy, Sarah, On, Annalise and the others I’m drawing some blanks on, sorry y’all!!) , other than the Viking bartender , just kidding. He’s a Viking fan but he’s great I’m sure outside of game days. The food is great. I’ve tried basically the whole menu at this point and there’s something for everyone. I’ve brought my wife and 2yo daughter here and I’ve come with friends only. It’s a great atmosphere with great people whichever direction you go. Family friendly, dog friendly, and just all around friendly. The owners Nate and MK are genuinely good humans. The things they do for their staff and the love they show to all those who come to their establishment/s is just great.

We had a group of 5 for veterans day. We were impressed with the food quality and service. So many places offer cheap things for veterans day. They offered some great choices for veterans. We had a cowboy burger, Thai mango salad with shrimp, and wings. Our server Isabella and the Manager Nate were awesome. We only paid for our drinks and tipped for our service. You could get a great meal our appetizer between $15-$30. We highly recommend this place.
