University Donuts is one of my new favorites. They open very early and have wonderful donuts. They make great burgers as well. Cozy atmosphere and really nice professional staff. They take great care of their regulars!

Sorry…. I was unable to rate food because I decided not to eat here. The fact that my complaint was quickly dismissed by the waitress. I noticed a “supposedly service dog” with his paws all over the table while sitting in their dining chair. ” The same chair that customers sit in.” I mentioned it to the waitress and she quickly let me know, Well that’s a service dog for PSTD.” ” So.”….Yeah, the dog was barking at something at the time. Mind you I was told….a service dog for PSTD..Yeah, I don’t think so….Well I understand having a service dog but I don’t understand the putting them in the chair and letting the dog put his paws on the table. However, I have a dog too. Inside mind you and she has never been on my table. Service was mediocre…Like I said my complaint was quickly dismissed and I was rushed. I am very disappointed

With a name like University Donuts, one might be quick to dismiss them as only having tasty pastries… but that’s far from the case. They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch offerings… not to mention very friendly service. After contemplating over many of their menu items, I decided to try the cheeseburger poboy. It really hit the spot! It’s exactly what you would expect… not out-of-the ordinary… but also not disappointing. Had a great experience here… just make sure to time it right because they close right after lunch… after all, it is a donut shop!

We love this place. They get orders correct and the food is great. They have a large selection of donuts and they are always tasty. My husband loves the frat house potatoes. I order my bacon burnt and they get it right. And of course they serve Coke products.

I have been coming to University for years. The business as a whole has gone downhill. Everything is smaller, the prices (and credit card convenience charge) have continually gone up, and you will surely ruin the suspension on your car if you don’t pay attention to the giant craters in the parking lot. The latest example is from this morning. Ordered a half-dozen specialty donuts, paid almost $10, and then I realized that two of them were regular glazed donuts. Not worth complaining to them about, but enough to make me consider driving the extra couple of miles to Doughlicious.

The donuts were pretty good I was only passing through so wasn’t very familiar with the area. That being said, it was kind of an out-of-the-way place. The building looked pretty old but it had a very laid back familiar vibe like I’d been going in there my whole life…lol next time I’ll get more than just a donut

Best breakfast spot in Hammond! So much more than donuts. They have awesome omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and other great dishes. Our kids love it. There are food options for everyone. Great for lunch too!
