I visited universal joint for the first time, recently. The wait staff was friendly and pleasant, the food was very good. I ordered the burger of the month & my daughter ordered the Steinbeck Burger, and we ordered an appetizer of lemon pepper wings, the lemon pepper wings were slightly dry, but they were tasty. The burgers were absolutely delicious & the onion rings came with the burger of the month, and I absolutely loved the onion rings! I have nothing bad to say about the burgers & the only reason I did not give it five stars, was because it appeared to be just a tad bit Dusty. Other than that, everything was delicious and everyone was friendly.

I had a great first experience at this local eatery. My favorite was the bbq nachos. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was very inviting. Our waitress Kayla was great and very attentive. But what really won us over was when the owner Bruce came around, introduced himself and said he appreciated our business! I will definitely revisit Universal Joint in Lawrenceville, and let my friends and family know that they should give it a try too!

If you’re looking for a bar that serves food, this place is fine. If you’re just looking for food, it will be an average experience. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was disappointing. However, there were a lot of hamburger options. Huge drink menu. Negative: Most of the seating is outside. #saisson

Had lunch there today. It was a beautiful day so we sit outside on the patio under an umbrella. My wife had a burger and tater tots with a gluten free bun and it was very good. Always a plus for her. I had a gyro with fries. The tots were perfection. Hot and crispy and I was eating them off her plate. Also the fries were served piping hot which I love. Our waitress was very good, she took quick care of all our needs. Many choices in downtown Lawrenceville and the Universal Joint has always been on point. A great places for burgers and a cold beer. We will return.

There was a bit confusion in the beginning with our seats… th3 young lady had forgotten us… after that every else went smoothly… I ordered the bean burger it was delicious the quinoa and Brussel sprouts were ok could of used a little more seasoning…. my hubby lov3d his burger he said it was very flavorful our drinks were great… I got “call and uber” man tasty and a bit strong but very good!

The food menu is nothing unique or special. The service is slow and they are not diligent at checking up on you. Our waiter charged our card twice when we checked the bank charge. Called to speak to manager/owner and it took them 2 weeks to correct. The place is located just off the main strip in downtown Lawrenceville and they have a nice outdoor entertainment space. Felt the place is sloppily run and would not have confidence returning or recommending this spot when there are other places that rival their menu and service.
