Wonderful food, great service and atmosphere. So why 4 stars? I can’t figure this place out.
They seem to only expect and want patrons from the adjoining office park. Their web site link is a dead end 404 (see pic), the link to menu has 1/20 of the really wonderful offerings they have. Look at screen shot. 2 things in every category online, but the real menu you see in person is incredibly well rounded with lots of delish appealing options for soup, sandwiches, salads, and great looking breakfast sandwiches. Plus, not open weekends. Only 7-3 weekdays. Seems only for the local business crowd but maybe nestled back in that Sundial mill that is all they can attract.
I work from home and occasionally look for places to get out of the house to work and have a bite. Amazing I finally wandered into this place. I usually go to The Works, Panera, Sunny Cafe, etc.
That said, food quality was superb. My bacon and Gruyère grilled cheese and tomato soup was the flavor and texture of perfection and delish. Home made gourmet appeal, way above a factory line like Panera.
WiFi worked great. Nice cozy atmosphere great for work, socializing and relaxing. Wish they could get broader reach and had a working online presence here in Google. Really should fix that stuff up guys.

Got a maple butter pecan iced latte the other day and a double chocolate muffin. The muffin was so moist and delicious. The latte was great as well. Very well priced. The name is wrong, this isn’t waterworks cafe but unity cafe. Staff was very friendly and a very peaceful atmosphere

Great breakfast, the industry bowl is a whollop of food and reasonable price. Some items are pretty expensive and probably not worth it when you could spend the same at a decent restaurant. Knowing what to buy and finding what makes them exceptional is important. Staff are always friendly

Greeted with a smile as soon as I entered and the service was incredible. The atmosphere is charming with plenty of comfortable seating as well, you could even work on a laptop here. The menu is so great it is hard to choose what to get between the wide variety of drinks and food choices with plenty of healthy options as well. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and it was amazing plus the house made chips it came with were some of the best I’ve had!

This cafe is way better than waterstreet cafe the head female cook at the other location has an attitude problem. I was there a few days ago front cashier Rang my order in correctly kitchen screwed it up , and I could hear her giving the front cashier attitude bc I asked for my plate to be the correct way . The way I ordered it . Front cashier was very sweet and very apologetic!!
But The staff at this location are so nice and so sweet I love it I’ll be back for sure.

First time trying this place and was very happy with the quality of food and coffee. Banana foster French toast was delicious. I was very surprised the place was not crowded for breakfast. Worth a try and I’ll be back!

Went here for breakfast and it was pretty empty. This is a nice cozy restaurant that sits in the middle of the Sundial Center. The food was quite affordable considering current prices for even fast food in the area, and it was definitely great tasting! I’ve also tried some of their lunch specials which were also equally good! The person working at the counter was extremely courteous and food came out pretty quickly. As a resident next door to this restaurant, will definitely come again in the future.

So far Unity cafe is my favorite of all the Tidewater conglomerate. Food is good, good portions and friendly staff. Bayona was my favorite until I visited Unity.
