Stopped in there for a late breakfast on Saturday morning. It was our first time there. The atmosphere was very homey. The food was great and at a good price. The staff was very polite and the service was great. The wait for our orders was minimal. It’s a great place to eat.

Very nice diner/restaurant easily visible with on street parking.
We were lured in by the smell of whatever was cooking that day and our growling stomachs made the decision. We were not disappointed by the food nor the service!
Our table ordered the fried fish and broasted dinner specials of the day, which included the salad bar. First off, the salad bar is the best I have had ever in Wisconsin (it also included slice of homemade rhubarb bread this day!). The dinner specials were excellent as well, served hot! We topped off our meal with a slice of banana cream pie, shared. (Definitely should have each gotten our own).
Service was great; server was pleasant and sociable.
We arrived after the lunch hour so plenty of seating.
I definitely recommend dining at Unique Cafe if you are in the area. We live about 40 miles away and both agreed it would be worth it to drive to Boscobel to dine here!

Love this place! I don’t live in town and I hadn’t been by for some time but stopped by today and it was well worth it. The hot beef plate was delicious and the portions were large. Also had the coconut custard pie and salad bar. Both were excellent. Nice energy. Yummy!!

Combining two from yesterday and today. Yesterday food was great and service friendly. Today I never got my food. I put my order in right away. Waited half an hour. Asked another waitress to check on it. Never saw her again. At least they didn’t make me pay for my coffee. I offered but the cashier said don’t.

You get what it says on the tin. It’s a country diner as you’d expect it: country diner decor, country diner food, and good country diner service.
Omelettes were good and all the other plates going by looked good as well.
Nothing culinarily exquisite or unusual, but it was good, fresh made food and it made me feel great.
Coffee was better than expected.
Cinnamon roll can be skipped… nice, but not very sweet… its just bread and an odd flavored icing.

Great small town Cafe with an amazing feel and a meatloaf special that’s worth the drive. The coffee was good too! Good sized portions and lunch with coffee was $12.50. You won’t get that in Madison!

Great food! I ordered the Royal Doyle omelette, which was excellent, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy just the way I asked. Instead of settling for the free hotel breakfast, I walked here — and it was absolutely worth it.

Thank you so much for your salad bar. It was lots of variety lots very high-quality and really helped us refuel on our bike trip today. Can’t believe your exceedingly reasonable prices- so we got dessert too, ( that was a tough choice)
