Every worker I interacted with was very warm and kind. The service was top notch. My friends and I were even talking about it afterwards. Very laid back and chill place.

We sat on the patio, which was empty on a super hot day, but being covered from the sun, we decided it was fine. I love a covered patio. The inside was nice and cool when I used the super clean bathrooms. Note that they are downstairs, so not fully accessible.

The food was good. Lots of meat on the sandwich, which had soft bread. The fries were basic. The beverage was served nice and cold.

We enjoyed our visit!

Price is reasonable too.

Decided to visit this pub on a whim with a friend while we were walking along Unionville on Monday. We sat on the patio because it was a lovely day outside. We asked to sit closer to the back and they accommodated that. Unfortunately, it took almost 20-25 minutes to be seen by a server. The server took our order (without writing anything down) and 2 minutes later came back out to ask me “what did you order again?”. At this point, we also asked for our bills to pay for the meal since it took so long to be seen and noticed the tables beside us were waiting for their bills for the same amount of time we had been waiting (they were growing frustrated as well). We did not want to be stuck waiting for our bills after our meals. The server did not come back with the bill like we asked until the end of our meal and after having to ask 2 different servers for our bills. On our receipt, it says our server’s name was Farrah- she was short and had brown hair that was tied into a ponytail.

We received our food which was pretty good. We had ordered spinach dip to share, I got the beef dip sandwich with sweet potato fries and my friend got a steak with mashed potatoes and veggies. We both enjoyed our meals.

Unfortunately the incredibly slow service was disappointing and ruined our experience with this restaurant, even though the food was great. Probably would not come back.

Cozy pub vibe, super friendly staff and exceptional food. The beef barley soup was hearty and perfect to start. The Reuben was loaded, juicy, and one of the best we’ve had. The brisket sandwich was tender, smoky, and delicious. Great spot. We’ll definitely be back, highly recommend!!!

This is one of the most unique restaurants in the area. Good vibes for meeting friends. Nice outdoor patio by the Main Street.

Server was very attentive and friendly.

All is good until our food arrived. Shrimp was over fried and they must used old frying oil, it’s hard to bite. Steak was definitely a turn off.

Honestly, this wasn’t my first choice for dinner in Unionville, but my friends wanted to try it so I agreed. However, I don’t think this is a place I will be coming back to.

I think the first thing and most important thing to keep in mind when dining is the price, and this place is definitely over priced for the quality of food that you get. I got the chicken Parmesan, a piña colada and the nachos (that we split 3 way) and the total amount I paid with tips was $50. $50 for one person is simply outrageous especially considering how poor the food was.

Firstly, the chicken Parmesan I ordered comes with a side Cesar salad and garlic bread. I love salads so I thought I’d enjoy this one. However, this barely qualifies as a salad because I was simply served chopped lettuce mixed with a dressing and about 4-5 croutons. No cheese, no dry seasonings or anything else to make it stand out. I usually get the salad kits from the grocery store for $5 and that comes with dressing, dry seasoning, more croutons and Parmesan cheese. So if a grocery store can do it, I sure hoped a grill could.

Secondly, when the all our food came but the piña colada I order didn’t, I asked about its whereabouts and the server was told by the bartender that a kid on the patio was now enjoying it. At the time, it was just funny to me and they got me another one, however, I know some others may not find it as humorous.

Thirdly, the chicken itself was very, very dry and hard to cut through. They tried to make up for it by slathering it in marinara sauce and cheese, but it really did not help matters much.

The nachos themselves left little to be desired as well. They were super bland and dry and definitely could be made better at home with store bought ingredients. My friends didn’t seem to enjoy their dishes much either. We ended up heading to the confectionary down the street to revive our tastebuds.

Overall, I honestly would not recommend going here, especially if you are on a budget. There are better places on Mainstreet Unionville that offer much better food at much better prices. For a one time thing, we didn’t mind as much, but it’s definitely not the best option there.

This is a lovely cozy pub right in the middle of Main Street Unionville. We received a friendly greeting at the door and were asked whether we wanted to sit inside or on their large patio. At first we decided inside but changed our minds after ordering a drink. No problem. We were moved to a spacious patio where every table had a big umbrella. Our server was friendly and attentive and brought our food promptly. My wife ordered fish and chips and I had the beer au jus with fries. A very large piece of battered haddock accompanied by fresh cut fries and coleslaw plus a chiabatta stacked up with very thinly cut roast beef plus fries, macaroni salad and a dill pickle spear. We both accompanied our meals with a glass of draft beer. The beer was nice and cold and the food was served hot and was delicious. It was a beautiful sunny day and very warm for October.

Foody delight. Excellent menu, staff atmosphere and great little town! Unionville is definitely a place to go. I love Unionville Arms Pub & Grill. It was awesome. I had The Arms Burger Max with Gar Parm fries on the side. The burger was amazing and the Gar Par fries were the best I’ve ever had, you’re gonna love them.

A classic old-time pub in the heart of Unionville. Lots of classic pub grub.

Service was prompt and friendly and the food came in a reasonable time. We were there for a Friday lunch in early February 2026.

The facilities were clean but the tables need an overhaul after years of use.

I had high expectations for this dining experience, especially given the restaurant’s impressive 4.1-star rating. Unfortunately, my excitement turned into disappointment when I ordered a medium-rare steak, only to be served a dish that was noticeably overcooked. To make matters worse, both sides of the steak showed clear signs of being burnt, leaving me with a less than satisfactory meal that didn’t live up to the restaurant’s reputation.
