Stopped in while visiting a friend in Olean. Loved it. Renee was our bartender and was great. Enjoyed the drinks and conversation. Can’t beat the buffalo for decor! Will definitely be back on my next trip to Olean. Thank you!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was good a little loud because of the NFL game on the television. The drink was good however the crispy fried chicken sandwich was literally falling apart- the coating was separating from the meat with each bite I took. The bbq sauce was very good and so was the bun. Sorry to see that this was a flash in the pan whenever they lost the one cook from 2 years ago. Right off hand I can’t remember his name but he did a great job. Sorry Union Whiskey we probably won’t be back.

Today was my birthday and my friends and I just wanted to go someplace for a lite bite and drink Unfortunately it was after 8 pm; most restaurants are closed, so we entered this late open bar for some food. Very crowded at the bar so we grabbed a table five feet away from the band stage area. I guess we just didn’t understand how to order something to eat or drink at this place. Are we suppose to walk up to the “kitchen” wall to order?? Do we squeeze ourselves in between the bar people to order drinks?? We will never know. After ten minutes of loudness, I was hungry and getting a headache so I asked my friends if we could celebrate somewhere else. We walked out. Maybe I’ll try another day to figure this out.

This review is long over due, but seeing as Renee is such a swell friend I thought I’d take the time. My fiancé and I find ourselves here rather often, the burger and scoops are to die for! And the decor of the facility is unfound in the area. Always exceptional service, have been served when the kitchen was closed on more than one account and we’re always so grateful. Wouldn’t change a thing!

We popped into Union Whiskey on a whim at the recommendation of a local and we were thrilled. The service from Chrissy, our bartender, was nothing short of phenomenal. She made solid recommendations for both food and drink. The burgers were perfect and the wings were on point. Her service came with a smile and a welcoming attitude despite a healthy crowd. The bar has the Thursday night football game on and we had a wonderful time. Thank you Chrissy and Union Whiskey!
