Chicken Pho with added stir fry veggies was served hot and full of flavor. Hit the spot on a cold evening. Service was attentive and friendly. Small space with good music

Came here with a friend after walking past the restaurant a few times and I regret not trying it sooner! The food was really good and packed with flavours. Only thing I would say is that the portion of the meat in the pho was a bit on the smaller side but the broth was awesome!

The service is really friendly – the restaurant has really cozy vibes, will definitely come back again 🙂

Really cute and delicious Vietnamese restaurant hidden in Borough. We got a huge bowl of Pho and Bun Hue. The beef was tender and just melts in your mouth, broth was super flavourful and had to get spring rolls for starters too!

We also had dessert: homemade steamed banana cake with coconut cream and Crispy coconut sesame roll with ice cream. So so so good!

Can’t wait to come back again and try the rest of the menu!

We ordered bun thit nuong and banh khot. Everything was nice, the vietnamese food was pretty good. Banh Khot for about 7pcs was £19 which we thought was quite expensive. Will probably not return due to the price even though the food and service was lovely.

Great menu with lots of choice. Including drinks – soft & alcoholic. Had the most delicious roast chicken mango salad. Was really fresh, and generously packed with chicken and mango. Service was great too – very nice lady helped me choose. Noticed the serious coffee machine… together with the chilled tunes and comfortable spaces, I think I’ve found my new cafe☕️

Service was good, atmosphere was fairly average as also was the food. The flavours weren’t bad, I’ve had a lot worse and also a lot better but for me the portion size and prices were not aligned. I went for the £25 all singing/dancing Full House Huẽ but I had to really dig around to find the beef short rib and had the smallest amount of it. I assumed being London it would be pricier but the lack of portion was disappointing. I wouldn’t rule out eating here again but only if the portion/price was reevaluated.

A great Vietnamese restaurant near Tate Modern Museum.

We came here before an evening exhibition at Tate Modern. The restaurant is within 10min walking distance from the museum. It was really busy, but we were able to get a table without booking.

The service was a bit on the slow side, as there were only two people serving for a full house of guests. The food was really good. Would like to try the pho noodles next time, but the dishes (dry mixed noodles and some veggie salad) we had were also great. The portion was huge and the price was really reasonable.

Will come back again the next time I visit Tate modern.

this was so yum! Feels like finding a gem in london, we had dinner and ordered pho – I am a vegetarian and really enjoyed mine too. The drinks are also great.
What stood out to me was the service – over and above to be helpful and friendly, so great!

I’ve been going to viet union with a friend who lives locally for many years, and it has always been a brilliant authentic vietnamese, so we were surprised when we popped in yesteday for lunch to find it has had its interior upgraded from the charmingly rustic ultilitarian feel it had previously to something a bit more trendy.

Unfortunately upon ordering we discovered that in addition to the new look, the menu has essentially been gutted, watered down and “westernised” for want of a better word. While the food was ok and edible, it was also simple and very “identi-kit eastern”. The teriyaki noodles were underwhelming, my duck rice bowl came with a salad that would be more at home in wetherspoons and quite honestly it all felt barely vietnamese at all.

I can only assume this is all under new management, and while the service was polite and fast, its disheartening to see what used to be such wonderful little spot with rich , fresh authentic vietnamese food reduced to what really felt like cheap fast food.

Honestly, wagamamas feels more authentic than whatever this is, and I never thought I’d say that. A sad loss.
