Le French Café is a small place where you can have an authentic French food, homemade on the site. We are from Bordeaux,in the south west of France and I like to welcome my customers, exactly as I welcome my friends at home!
So, everyone is welcome! Chantal

Not an authentic French cafe the dishes are sparse I didn’t expect to have a “sandwich crouqe madame” or crepe with almost no Nutella lol and very overpriced. If you are looking for REAL French breakfast there are better places. One of the owners reached out and had a nonchalant mediocre response to my feedback which gives me an understanding to why his food is the same …Save your money.

Adorable French cafe with delicious coffee, food and the best canele I’ve ever had! Friendly service, great music and a warm, welcoming feel. Loved the small, sweet details like edible hearts and tiny French flags.

A perfect place to go if you want to start your day with an authentic French-style brunch. The owner serves up delicious food, decadent desserts, and amazing teas(we tried the iced Notre Dame).
The canelé was a standout—its crispy shell and soft interior had the perfect hint of sweetness, paired beautifully with a slightly bitter latte☕️.The croque madame featured buttery, crisp toast and a flawlessly runny egg, but the real surprise was the side salad: lightly dressed in tangy vinaigrette, it was so refreshing.
Every detail felt thoughtful, from the flavors to the cozy ambiance. Highly recommend for a taste of Parisian mornings!

The lovely lady who took our order is French, and it appears this cafe is true to its French title. A wide variety of loose leaf teas and the coffee was good as well. We got the salmon quiche, salmon crepe, and nutella crepe. The quiche was my favorite and came with a side salad that had a nicely balanced dressing. The crepes were also great, I appreciated the perfect texture of the salmon crepe. The Nutella crepe also meets high expectations. Limited indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating as well in the car-free alley. The decor is just fine for a local spot, I find the luxury bags a bit tacky but I’m sure that it is some else’s cup of tea.

A delightful little French gem in Old Pasadena, owned by a French couple. I had the pleasure of meeting the lady, and she was so warm and welcoming — it felt like catching up with an old friend.
The food? Classic French and absolutely delicious. I tried the Croque Madame, the Quiche aux Légumes and the Nutella Crepes — and wow, that Quiche was chef’s kiss (truly, I’m still thinking about it)
It’s a bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it if you’re craving a little French escape without leaving town. Can’t wait to go back!
