Parking lot is small & has limited number of parking spaces. They serve Breakfast and Lunch but close at 3:00 so be sure to get there early to allow for crowds as it always seems busy.
The restroom was stocked but very small & the door opens outward & blocks the entrance into the restroom area so just be aware of that, someone may be opening the door as you walk through.
Definitely will visit again, don’t pass up this little gem!
I unfortunately forgot to take a picture of my food, but trust me, it was worth it. The atmosphere is fun and unique, especially if you’re into trains and train memorabilia — you’ll absolutely love the décor.
Highly recommend this fun little restaurant for a great breakfast and a nostalgic vibe.
Food was hot, fresh, and very tasty and affordable for large portions. Nice decor with RailRoad/military theme.
Our server came of at first interaction as a bit unwelcoming/cold but we later realized that she’s just a very serious and straight to the point kinda person. She kept our table clean, drinks refilled, and on top of all details. Hard worker for sure.
Definately a place to go back to.
It was myself, my husband, and his parents dining together, and we all ordered the Country Fried Steak. In my personal opinion, it was comparable to something you might get at a chain like Denny’s or IHOP. When it comes to country fried steak, I personally prefer cubed steak that has a bit more texture and isn’t overly tender or didn’t have burger patty texture — this one reminded me more of a patty.
The gravy lacked a bit of flavor for my taste, and we ended up seasoning it ourselves. It didn’t come across as homemade. I also wish the hash browns had been crispier on top.
That said, the restaurant itself is very cute, and I loved the antique décor. It has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that adds to the overall dining experience.
Friendly staff, a little rushed but it was a busy morning for them.
