The sandwiches here are unbelievably good. I went for the torpedo artist with turkey, cheddar and sweet peppers. I’ve never had anything like the sweet peppers before, and they added something to the sandwich. The sandwich was perfectly toasted with delicious turkey inside. If you’re in Alexandria, then avoid all the chain shops and come here!

Kind of pricey, but I guess that’s expected for the area. However, really good sandwiches. They were very big. Super fresh and the bread was great. We got the Reuben, which was very tasty with just right portions of everything. And the Italian sandwich which was extra large could’ve made two meals out of that alone. Very tasty, fresh vegetables, absolutely made order. Very happy with a stop. But a sandwich, chips, and a drink was more than $20. There is a paid parking garage just across the street, and then the Alexandria Boardwalk area just behind it, so it’s a great location. Or you can get your sandwiches to go and find a stack area out on the park.

Super small scale and home-y vibe! We were greeted as soon as we came in and they had PLENTY of goodies to pick from aside from the sandwiches that were made REALLY quick!

I don’t travel to Alexandria much but I was with my baby and he took me out for lunch on his break.
He was craving a Ruben I could not decide between the Potomac Club,Tuna or the Sweet Virginia
I went with the club.
We were greeted when we came in,no wait time (but I think that is because people order and just come pick up,there were a couple bags ready to go beside the register)
We ordered and I looked around while waiting and also got a Cheerwine and some Route 11 chips.
The club was delicious it actually had a decent amount of meat !:I am not much of a fan of Avacado but on this sandwich with the sauce it worked and the bacon was cooked to perfection!
P.s I have no pic of the ruben because this man killed it after he opened it. (Although he did say that the beef was not as tender as he is used to)

Great location, outstanding sandwiches, and a large variety of snacks and drinks. This place was in such a good location that is covered and has 3 tables with chairs and a bar to sit and enjoy your food. All the food was very fairly priced for the area and was delicious!! The Alaskan with smoked salmon was awesome and the fish was very fresh with a creamy dill sauce, and a nice pumpernickel bread. Highly recommend the Italian sandwich as well. If you just need a quick water or soda or even chips, stop in.

Unexpected win and now a new fav!
Pivoted to Union Sandwich Co after our go-to spot was closed on the 4th and… wow! Adding this place to the regular rotation immediately. Super cute shop stocked with craft beer, wine, chips, and other treats to round out your meal.
Staff was so friendly and had our sandwiches out fast. We walked away with the avocado caprese and the Italian. Both were super fresh and flavorful. Finished with a soft (but not gooey!) chocolate chip cookie which was the perfect ending to some very delicious sandwiches. Very happy. Can’t wait to go back!

exceeded my expectation. i normally dont really like sandwich but that sandwich with beef here was really tasty. beef probably at medium rare stage and makes very good harmony with everything. i like it. does it have any other locations??
