Always the most amazing friendly staff and clearly believe in teamwork amongst themselves to make sure guests are taken care of! If you love whiskey/bourbon this place is your got to with a view paired with their ribeye taco board or elote brisket flatbread. Hands down, the best option on the boardwalk!

We’ve been to Union Bear several times and have always had good experiences. I love the aesthetic. We usually sit at the bar and service is always great. This time was no different. Hubs ordered the boss hog pizza and even though it was a bit overdone it was really good, would definitely order it again. I ordered the Reuben, I would honestly not order it again. The sandwich contents were tasty but the bread was soggy on the bottom and the fries were honestly terrible, barely warm and not crispy at all. Hubs had beer and liked both of the ones he tried. I had the UB old fashioned and it was delicious. All in all some soggy bread and bad fries won’t keep us from coming back. Our good experiences outweigh the bad for sure.

1st time in and everything was great from the greeting manager, to Micheal our server, to the food and speed of service. We were there to not rush through anything and we were checked on appropriately and the food came out in perfect timing. Had the shrimp appetizer, the elote brisket flatbread pizza, a ceasar salad, the rueben sandwich and the carrot cake. 2 different beers. Nothing disappointed. Recommend any day any time of the week.

The service was really good at Union Bear. We ordered a pizza and mentioned no bacon, but it was accidentally added — probably because the place was very busy. However, the way the staff handled it was truly appreciated. They responded in a friendly and positive manner, fixed the issue without any attitude, and even gave us coupons for the inconvenience.
Great customer service like this really makes a difference. Would definitely visit again!

Sat at the bar – our favorite place to sit! I think we waited 5-8 minutes to be asked if we would like something?
The flatbread BossHog Pizza was delicious and came out hot since they have runners.
Our beer sat empty for at least 15 -18 minutes … maybe more with an empty glass and waiting to pay. If we weren’t honest people – the thought to dine and dash crossed our minds. To their credit when I mentioned it – they did comp our food.
Super unfortunate as Brewery/ beer people that enjoy trying new beers and enjoying great food.
The good and beer was great – the service was less than great.
Giving a 4 star as I think this place could be great and all the food saw come out looked amazing.

Great beer selection, tasty food for a good price, paired with kind and attentive service! It was nice that we were able to try a few samples of beers to make sure we enjoyed our selection. The boss hog flatbread and smothered fries hit the spot. Beef jerkey is good, just know that it’s a little crisper than regular beef jerky! All in all, this is a great place for lunch and we will be back again!
