The Union is an established restaurant, built on the foundations of the historic Union Hotel. We are located in Downtown Oroville with an inside/outside bar, outdoor patio, and beer garden. Our venue has a stylish and elegant banquet room, perfect for small gatherings and private events. In our outdoor space, we have an occupancy space for 350 people, ideal for large groups and public events.

Excellent!!! I had the Banh mi naan, my wife had a patty melt with mushrooms, both were excellent.
The space and ambiance are first class. It is even possible to have a conversation during the lunch rush….. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The only letdown was the wait for our food to arrive. Other than that, definitely well worth a visit

The atmosphere here is cool. Outdoor seating is kept warm with heaters (it was winter and comfortable) and they had a live artist (The One Man Band) that was one of the best I have heard.
The food and service was okay. It wasn’t busy but the staff seemed to be rushing us out, his ahead of the posted closing time. We got caught mid-shift change, which is never ideal. Had to request a correction to our bill. We would give it another shot, probably just bad timing.

Some of my P.E.O. Sisters and I toured the Oroville Theatre and enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Depot. Philly Steak sandwiches, fish tacos, patty melts and salads were delicious! Our waitress was friendly and quick, and the outdoor patio was lovely! I will go back again!

Fresh tasty food. There are lots of options. I had a half order of Nachos. If you want to have half shrimp and half carne asada for an extra charge, let them know. They are very accommodating. Our server, Alex, was very nice and helpful and added fun energy to our table.

I stopped here for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised that it was just in time for happy hour. The food was really good, even in the middle of a shift change. I’ll be back when the weather cools off to catch a show. The outdoor area looks like a fun place to hang out.

Had the quesadilla buger.. Ill say it didn’t disappoint although I wasn’t a big fan of the garlic tasting beef.. Everyone’s food looked amazing will definitely go back and try another selection from the menu…

The service was great. Food was very flavorful and tasty. Cocktails were fantastic. They got busy later on in the evening but still had great service. Sometimes you can get forgotten about but they are attentive. Appreciate the great experience of our 1st time. Will be back for sure.
