We recently moved to Florence and this place have quickly become our “local”. Amazing choice of bourbons and whiskies. Craft beers. Great industrial feel inside and friendly regulars that are always happy to shoot the breeze. Larry and Tom are always very friendly and welcoming, makes you feel like a part of family as soon as you walk in! Fresh popcorn everyday and You can join their Bourbon Club too which is good fun.

Larry the proprietor, the most knowledgeable bourbon host, let him know the type of flavor you like, he will help you find a better one. By far, the best bourbon bar in NKy. Was just rated top 20 bourbon bars in America! Great selection and best prices around. You actually get a 2oz pour rather than 1.5oz. Great atmosphere that is both welcoming and relaxing. Patrons seem to be more like family than friends at Union 42. The owner, Larry, is a great conversationalist and an all-around good guy who makes one hell of an old fashioned. It’s his favorite drink to make. I urge anyone to stop in and try one or three for themselves.

This is truly a hidden gem of a bourbon bar. They have dozens to try. From sought after rare bottles, to multiple barrel picks. I got to try a few different bookers releases.
