Used to come here a lot when I worked close and always liked it. Our most recent experience was pretty rough. The quesadilla wasn’t cooked all the way through and was falling apart with dry chicken and non-melted cheese. The burger was ok. Their soda machine was broken (and the charge $4 for a soda) but said to get one of the other drinks.. definitely not worth it!

I absolutely love Unforked and was so excited to see they had hot chocolate on the menu. Everything about this place is so cool and thoughtful. Highly recommend stopping by, whether you’re checking out the store or just grabbing a hot chocolate. First off, the service is amazing. Alfredo G was awesome! The goat taco was hands down one of the best tacos my friend and I have ever had. We’re visiting from St. Louis, and we’re definitely heading back there after checkout tomorrow to grab more. Great place to eat, and I highly recommend it if you haven’t been yet. Once again, the service really made the experience from start to finish. I hope the owner sees this and gives Alfredo some well-deserved praise. He was truly fantastic!

I quite enjoyed my lunch here during my recent stay in Kansas City. It was great to find a restaurant with high quality ingredients that are locally sourced. It is so prevalent today to find a lot of food that is lower quality and more like assembly line type food. I was happy to see that they get their beef local and that it’s hormone and antibiotic free. It’s a bit more expensive than other places but worth it in my opinion. I throughly enjoyed my hamburger and the hand cut fries. It was awesome that they had a very tasty gluten free and vegan bun (no dairy for me). I would definitely eat here again if in the area. I should also mention it was really nice to be able to walk here from the Sheraton via the Link walkway.

Probably the most I’ve spent on the singular worst taco I’ve ever tasted the reason there is no number on the menu for the amount of tacos is because you are only buying one. Not only was it small but they didn’t even use the correct tortilla. Don’t recommend the tacos and don’t recommend eating here overall.

We had Unforked for lunch and it didn’t disappoint.
The avocado taco and pork taco were delicious.
The hubby had the pure burger on gluten free bun and the sweet potato and I must say the cheese sauce on the set potatoes is so good.
Our kids had the chicken sandwich basket medium heat and chicken tenders.
Everything taste wonderful.

The food was of good quality. I loved the carnitas taco. I did think it was pricey for burgers and tacos. I rated 3 stars because the cashier asked me what I would like to drink with each item leading one to think that the drink was included. I feel that it was a very sneaky form of up selling and I did not like that. A kids drink was 3 dollars!

Came in with my daughter right after the opened, waited for 20 minutes, fries were soggy, the tacos were ok, but not 8 buck a peice ok. I don’t understand why would would put cheese fries in a wire rack with nothing but a thin price of paper. which quickly led to cheese alive table. last straw was finding several black hairs in food.

after being contacted by the restaurant,and having the problem address and an acceptable solution and apology given. I have updated my review. While my original experience was less than ideal, the personal attention I got in addressing the issues was solved. I would try them again next time we are at crown center

Prices are fairly reasonable considering the location. A hotel, touristy, etc.
Got akaushi burger. Had never heard of that type of beef before.
Full disclosure, I’m post Covid and my taste is all but gone…?!? But my gf did tell me the truffle fries, I wasn’t missing any truffle taste in them. They smelled faintly of truffle, but that’s about it.
Also, how does a restaurant in Missouri NOT have ranch…?!

We love Unforked. We’ve had good experiences at all of their locations. All of the food is terrific and there are lots of vegetarian options for my wife.
At this location, you’ll order at the front counter, take a buzzer and your food will be brought to the bar for you to grab when it’s ready. Drinks are self-service or you can order beer/wine with your meal or separately at the bar.
