I went here with a bestie on vacation and got two lattes, a blueberry scone, and a coffee crumb muffin. The coffee muffin was to die for I ate the entire top off of it. However, dun dun dunn the latte was not my favorite it tasted a little burnt. However the entire village of Dennis is so cute to walk around and I love the interior of this bakery

My favorite cafe on the Cape! Everything from the baked goods, coffee, sandwiches- Amazing! The people at underground are the best. I can’t wait to visit the Cape soon to go back. The space itself is really cute and comfortable and they sell local art and jewlery. Hightly recommend!

Don’t let the size fool you – I think this is the friendliest coffee shop/bakery on the Cape! Laurie, Em, Owen and the team do a great job and make everyone feel like they are part of the neighborhood. The specialty lattes, muffins, pastries and dog biscuits are my family’s favorites. Paninis and ramen are also favorites this time of year. Don’t come to Dennis without stopping in, then drive down the road to Corporation beach for a pretty breakfast view. Highly recommend!

I’ve regularly worked on the Cape once or twice per week for the last three years. Since I was introduced to Underground, I’ve made it a regular stop. They make you feel right at home, within reason. IIf you could apply the spirit of Cheers (“Where everybody knows your name”) to a Bakery, than Underground would fit the bill.
Great coffee, pastries, sandwiches and everything in between. They do custom orders (cakes – pies) and always have a wide assortment of delicious baked goods ready for swallowing (Don’t forget to chew first).

Laurie is absolutely amazing.
With the loss of my mother shortly before our wedding, she showed me there truly are kind and gracious people here on little Cape Cod. We are truly so lucky to have connected with her and this wonderful bakery. The cake was phenomenal, but the entire experience is a story I’ll tell forever. Thank you for everything. What a neat little local spot! Grabbed some coffee from here. Got the iced. It’s good! Lots of baked goods that good as well though didn’t try. Pretty expansive menu with stuff you wouldn’t expect like ramen. Nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly as well.

$11 for a burnt corned beef breakfast sandwich. Bummer. The eggs are also strange….. seems like mostly whites? Unfortunately didn’t find the burnt corned beef until we got home. Chose not to eat at the bakery because it honestly seems kinda grimy. Bagel was fine. There’s better bakeries on Cape.
