We came here for my birthday brunch! The place itself is so adorable! I love the way it looks and it’s so cute! The menu was fun with all the brunch and lunch options as well as the tapas tower that you could mix and match what you ordered on it. Now warning the tapas plates are small so you want a few of them if that’s all you’re getting. We got them as appetizers and then we got actual meals. I tried the Cuban and was a little disappointed only because the bread was really dry. My boyfriend got the fish tacos and he liked those a lot. The bao buns were so delicious! We got a few of the tapas and they were so so good. It was a very fun experience!

Wow! What an amazing brunch we had. Our waitress was amazing though I didn’t get her name. The food was phenomenal as well. I got the steak and eggs and on the first bite I was blown away. My mom ordered from the à la carte menu, and my boyfriend got a Belgian waffle, bacon, and home fries. Overall it was a great spot to eat. The area is beautiful, and the restaurant itself is very cute and cozy.

We went for brunch. Make reservations for weekends. We didn’t and as we got seated outside in the “party tent”. It was nice, but we wanted to be inside. I got the chicken and waffles. Pretty excellent. It was all excellent. Nice location, great atmosphere, very good food.

You need an Argentinian to get empanadas right—and this place proves it. The empanadas here are what we jokingly call empanadas de piernas abiertas: they’re so juicy you practically have to lean forward and sit with your legs open to keep from making a mess. On a scale of 1 to 10, these are a solid 9.5.
Our waitress was fantastic, and Under the Moon is clearly well managed. Even though it was busy, we didn’t have to wait long at all. And don’t skip the zucchini soup—it was absolutely delicious.

Excellent restaurant. Food was amazing and our hostess was so kind and gave us recommendations. The duck mac and cheese was mindblowing! Burger and fried chicken sandwich were amazing too. We will definitely make the trip back!

My friend David and I took a trip to Lambertville today to check out some books, antiques and vinyl records. We stopped by ‘Under The Moon’ for lunch and were very pleased. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Flatbread Pizza and David ordered the Chilled Turkey Sandwich with Truffle Fries and a Tomatoe Bisque soup. Everything was delicious especially the Truffle fries. If you’re in Lambertville, check out, ‘Under The Moon.’ You won’t be disappointed. Cheers

Under the Moon Café is a hidden gem in Lambertville—especially if your mission is drink well. The bar hits hard: their classic Old Fashioneds are on point, but the Cold Brew Old Fashioned? Chef’s kiss—coffee, booze, brilliance.

The short rib appetizer is a flavor knockout—fall-apart tender, deeply savory, and utterly craveable. And Eddy behind the bar? A mixologist with charm, fast, friendly, and always knows what you’ll like.

Skip the usual spot, this is where the real night begins.

While the restaurant itself wasn’t our ultimate destination, we sure were glad that we stumbled into it as we were strolling the streets of the Halloween-decorated Lambertville. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the hostess were able to accommodate us and showed us to a heated table for two outside. We enjoyed both the food and the service.

Under the Moon is a great spot in the heart of Lambertville. The entrance has a cool VW bus and beautiful garden full of plants and flowers. It’s really beautiful. There is a side walk sign that welcomes dogs and lists special events including local night specials. There is also a really nice ramp should anyone need it.

Indoor and outdoor seating were offered, we opted for outdoor on their covered porch. Bella was our server and she is so good at her job! She told us about the owners story and how he has grown his business and developed a huge following for his famous empanadas. She gave us some tapas selections and we took all of them!

Drinks arrived in mason glasses that I loved. The tapas are $40 for three. The portions are on the smaller side. You can add a forth if you’d like too for an uncharge. Plates are presented nicely on a tower, along with some crostini’s on the side. We loved the bacon wrapped dates! If you like blue cheese try these! They were our favorite. The Cazuela De Queso was a goat cheese dip with caramelized onions. It was good, but not as good as the dates. I would recommend skipping the Tostones Con Ropa Vieja. We both found the meat delicious but stringy and difficult to chew.

I will definitely come back to Under the Moon. When I do I’m definitely trying the empanadas or coming for locals night. Their $30 three course meal on Wednesdays is a sweet deal!Wednesday’s are a great night in Lambertville because it’s locals night. Many businesses offer specials like this one to bring in the locals, but everyone gets to enjoy it!
