Jazz is something that truly makes the soul fulfilled and there are very few places that exist in Pittsburgh to enjoy it. We met Don, who is a 96 year old sax player…yes 96! He can still jam like a pro and we had an amazing conversation with him. His son and granddaughter will be accompanying him next week – 3 generations on the same stage! We also met a regular – Marty – who comes the whole way from Fayette County because of this place. That should tell you enough about how special it is.
To Corey who was behind the bar all night night long and never stopped – thanks for treating us so well but more importantly, thanks for coming up with the concept and seeing it through for over a year now.
As for food, my steak was prepared perfectly and the plating was beautiful. My wife had the pistachio pesto with homemade pasta. Untouchable!
Do yourself a favor and add Uncorked to your list of places to experience. You won’t be disappointed, I promise!
The food was AWFUL! Truly awful. They need a chef. I am not sure how they can both drown pasta in garlic cream sauce and yet make it with zero flavor. The shrimp were extremely hard and tasteless. The beet salad was also tasteless. How can that even be? GET A CHEF or you’ll be out of business soon and that’s a shame because again the place is gorgeous and they seem very nice there.
I’ve been here a handful of times now, and the bartender remembers the ratio I like in my martinis and they’re always helpful with recommendations.
Amazing gin selection, especially for botanical gin.
I’m happy Sharpsburg has a nice spot for live music and good food.
