Uncle Vito’s Pizza in Sacramento is hands down a late-night necessity for me, especially when I’m having a fun weekend out. It’s my go-to spot when I need to grab a slice, and it never disappoints. I went there on Halloween weekend, and it was exactly what I needed after a night out. The selection of pizzas is phenomenal—they always have unique and unexpected toppings that make each visit a fun experience. Great little dive. I like how they pipe the game audio through to the bathroom so you don’t miss anything. $8 slice + draft beer at HH is a fantastic deal. Thai shoestring fries (though nothing Thai about them) with ranch, sweet chile sauce and green onion tasted good. Pizza was great except the end of the crust was burnt and crunchy–wish they pulled it out of the oven a touch sooner. Other thing that could improve is service. Guy at the counter was friendly, but we had to get our own coasters and the tables all needed a serious wipe down. Minor details bc overall one of the best spots on all of R street.

Perfect spot in downtown sac to grab a quick drink or late night pizza before or after a show at Ace of Spades. Parking is not too bad, there’s a parking lot and a parking garage not too far away, there’s also street parking. Bathroom for customers only, they have pizza too slices and full pizzas. We got a combo slice to share and they have screens for sports games.

-thai chili fries $7
-beers $7 (device, new glory)
Enjoyed all of the food! Not sure I would get the thai chili fries again though.
Staff is friendly. There is a bit of seating inside with TVs, so a good time when there’s a big game!

I loved their outdoor seating (the neighborhood is full of them at the moment due to covid – I really hope they keep it because it’s wonderful). I got a slice of the tomato and pesto pizza with added Italian sausage. It was a generous portion and satisfying, perfect if you’re hungry but not looking for a full-on meal. I went back to get the house cocktail (whiskey, elderflower liqueur, ginger beer, and a few other things I can’t remember) and the garlic fries, which was basically a hill of fries with excellent abundance of garlic – great for sharing while chatting with a friend. Everything tasted great, and the outdoor seating (which takes over a part of the parking lot) was great for a summer evening. Price was very reasonable, roughly $5 for the slice, $6 for the fries, and $8 for the drink. I’d love to come back.

My closest pizza joint to my house and, in my opinion, the BEST anywhere. The lunch special can’t be beat, and a special pizza is included every day. (On my visit it was the “Kahuna” with the requisite Canadian bacon and Hawaiian pineapple!) Salads are also abundant and good. The outdoor patio is perfect for gorging on pizza, salad and beer in any weather. And as mentioned in several previous reviews, the vibe is fantastic and the employees are super. A fun experience, plus a heavenly pizza crust to die for.

DELICIOUS. SCRUMPTIOUS. NY PIZZA. For our order, we kept it simple with a pepperoni pizza and a meat lovers (sausage, pepperoni, olives) – but this pizza did not disappoint. The price sure was right as well! Service was fairly moderate however
Still will be coming back here when I inevitably crave NY-style pizza again!
